Definitely a good place if you’re looking to save some money. Similar to other reviews the room felt dirty, the shower ran brown water when initially turned on and I’m shocked there aren’t more reviews that mention the critters in the ceiling that you can hear running around at night. There was definitely a rat or something in the ceiling that freaked us out - the hotel is old but still. It’s a good location and very easy to walk everywhere and it’s not loud at night. A lot of guests would smoke at the pool.

Absolutely loved our stay here. This charming hotel is well worth the stay. It is very dog-friendly! The staff is very welcoming and they will spoil your fur-baby. The rooms are comfortable, and each room is named after either a musician or a local. historical figure. The location is perfect as it is walking distance to pretty much everything in the French Quarter. They offer complimentary parking, which is a huge plus if you’re road-tripping. The cats aren’t dog-friendly but they love cuddles from the visitors!

Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. I will definitely stay here again. Whoever designed the rooms needs to be commended. They were able to keep the old New Orleans air while adding necessary modern conveniences. There are two pools, but the weather was too cold for me to enjoy them. As far as ghosts go, one night I folded my pants and set them on the mantle. I found them the next morning still folded sitting by the headboard of the bed. My water glass, that I sat on the desk, I found upside down by the closet. I had not been to Bourbon Street that night so that was not the cause! If you stay there, say hello to Nola and Cali. I highly recommend this hotel. It's not the Ritz so if you want the Ritz, stay at the Ritz. If you want wonderful service and a fantastic experience this is the place.

This is a great hotel if you're not looking for a fancy place. It is very very old and not updated at all. But, it is absolutely perfect for the New Orleans vibe, within walking distance to anything you could ever want, and you don't need a car while you're here. They also have a very cute courtyard, hot tub, and pool. The staff is fabulous. So, depending on what you're looking for, this is a great place to stay!!

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay. Spacious and recently renovated. I stayed in the carriage houses across the road, which from reviews do attract some of the worse write ups. Now, it wasn’t the Four Seasons, but for the price point, the accessibility to the area, and the super friendly and accommodating staff, I think this hotel is hard to beat. Thanks, Hotel St. Pierre. 5 stars from me.

Super cute boutique hotel, very close to everything. Our room was really nice, we had a king suite with a jacuzzi tub. It had a microwave, fridge, sofa, and bar area. Very spacious. Customer service was great, we had fesh towels every day. We even got to check in early no extra charge. Its within walking distance to Bourbon street, Louis Armstrong park, Royal Street and so much more. The area felt pretty safe, just watch your surroundings at night time like anywhere. Its not to loud at night time. Lots of food options nearby, shopping, and easy transportation. Its an old property so there are things that will need updates eventually but we really enjoyed our stay. They even will let you store your luggage after checkout if you have time to kill before your flight.

I was in NOLA for a corporate event and the company booked us Hotel St. Pierre. This is my first time staying at a boutique hotel. The area/French Quarters is rich with history along with the hotel and building so I anticipated a smaller space for the rooms. My colleague and I arrived early and we were worried about not being able to check in (check in time is 4pm). But Larry and Miss. Kim were EXTREMELY accommodating and SO nice!! They let us know our rooms are ready and early check in fees are waived. We were personally walked to our rooms. All the hotel staff is SO NICE. The room is cozy and perfect for a solo traveler. It was updated and clean. The staff are above and beyond! The property care for cats and a guest staying at the hotel expressed interest in adopting one of the kittens. The staff went above and tried to locate the cat for her (it was pouring outside) and they did! Highly recommend!

Only two positive things can be said about our stay: the hotel is in a great location, and—despite everything below—the management was very pleasant and helpful. Would we stay again? No. The issues: 1. Upon walking in, we found cockroach droppings under the pillow on the sheets. 2. Our bathroom had no power. Since the hotel had no available rooms, and nothing nearby had openings due to the football game, they gave us an extension cord so we could run a lamp in the bathroom. 3. On day one, we kept thinking we smelled urine but assumed it might just be the scent of an older building. After spending the night out in the French Quarter and having a few drinks, we returned and went straight to bed. In the morning, the smell was overwhelming. When I pulled back the sheets, I discovered I had slept in cat urine all night. It was on the sheets and on the mattress around mid-back/neck level. Again, with no rooms available, they flipped the mattress, changed everything out, and… well… you can take it from there. 4. The ceiling was peeling, and there were water stains everywhere. What can I say? The online pictures look great, and many of the reviews mention the hotel’s age—but urine stains, no power, and cockroach droppings are an entirely different matter. Management was very apologetic, and without us asking, they refunded our stay. Maybe we just got a lemon, or maybe it’s the hotel itself. It is quaint, nicely located, and has a charming lobby—but that’s where the positives end for us.

I had an incredible stay at Hotel St. Pierre in New Orleans. The location couldn’t have been better, inside the lakeside portion of the French Quarter, with unbeatable walkability. My family and I were able to explore Bourbon Street, Royal Street, Jackson Square, and the countless cafés and shops all within a short stroll. It made the entire trip feel relaxed, effortless, and authentically New Orleans. What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the fantastic staff. Every single employee I interacted with was warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Whether it was offering local recommendations, assisting with small requests, or simply greeting guests with a smile, the team consistently went above and beyond. Their hospitality made the experience feel personal and memorable. If you’re looking for a charming, centrally located French Quarter stay with exceptional service, Hotel St. Pierre is an excellent choice. I’ll absolutely be returning.

I decided to visit at the last minute coming home from a very long road trip with my little buddy and booked a room online while heading into town. We were welcomed by a very friendly host and the room was perfect for us to rest up some after some very stressful traveling. Walking distance to everything you could want on a visit as well as being safe back at the hotel thanks to their security measures. Beautiful courtyard and pools with dogs welcome pretty much wherever their person was. The hotel itself is made up of multiple buildings and creole cottages with multiple entries to avoid the main lobby should one decide to have some drinks....I am one, she is me and even alone in this area, I felt as safe as I am at home. Thank you.
