Guests consistently praise the pristine newly renovated rooms, the incredible river views, and the excellent staff who frequently go above and beyond, though many highlight serious and recurring security and management failures regarding guest safety.
Hotel staff was nice and friendly, clean rooms, nice size, comfy bed, and a great location. Everything is within walking distance. If you want to shop or head over to the main attractions Bourbon Street, and the French quarters. I also want to give a shot out to one special employee that went above and beyond the call of duty to help me with all my questions and gave me the best recommendations during my stay, Doy Gildart, we need more people like you in this ?. One of the best customer service experience that I have ever seen and I travel a lot for work and pleasure.
I liked this hotel and location but was very disappointed when I learned there were resort fees. Sooner or later these added on fees are going to cause people to go elsewhere and or not go as much or at all. We do these things because we work hard but this is getting ridiculous. This is not a resort. I’ve stayed on a resort in Florida and the property was gated and had a golf course. There were bikes, paddle boards and kayaks. The parking was too expensive also. I didn’t feel Ike a Hilton Honors member either with all these fees. The front desk person, Cody, was very nice and had good customer service skills. I appreciated him. As for the room it was nice with a nice view of the river. I think I was in the renovated part of the hotel. However, the shower was poorly designed. The one door swings out and the bathroom is already small. Then the knob to turn on the shower is at the other end. You will get your hair wet if you are not ready. Also there is no soap holder in the shower.
Overall impressed with this Hilton. Very nice hotel and rooms. Plenty of elevators that are fast. I loved the location, and the coffee/snack bar has a lot of great, healthy, gluten free options. Really appreciated that aspect.
Had a room with the most amazing river view. Staff were friendly and attentive, service was excellent. In a great area with many restaurants, bars and a huge Caesars Casino nearby. Just a 10-15 minute walk into Buornon Street. Special mention to Cece who asked me. How my stay was going. She was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
This was the most amazing stay! Plenty of restaurants and loved the pickle ball court. Beautiful rooms. Best experience with Hilton honors representative, Doy. He took his time explaining stuff and was honest. He went through all the offers and didn’t try to get over me. Hilton is so lucky to have such a great worker. Can’t wait to go on my trip!
The room is fabulous and well decorated, however the train/elevator shaft is an unwanted alarm at 4am. Complimentary earplugs would be much appreciated. The front desk agents are polite and efficient. I’d like to make special note of how wonderful and helpful concierge services were. Beth specifically went out of her way to make our stay special, recommending those out of the way places that makes New Orleans unique. She made us feel like we had an inside source to the city. She was the best. Happy overall with our stay! Thanks Beth!
My husband and I had a wonderful experience during our recent stay at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. I want to specifically mention Pierre, whose wealth of knowledge about the hotel and the city was invaluable. He provided us with insightful recommendations and ensured we made the most of our time in New Orleans. Additionally, Nagmani was incredibly helpful in assisting us with a room change. She handled our request efficiently and with a friendly attitude. Nagmani also took the extra step to apply our parking fee to our room at the discounted rate, which we greatly appreciated. These thoughtful touches made our stay even better. Overall, the Hilton New Orleans Riverside exceeded our expectations, largely thanks to the outstanding service from Pierre and Nagmani. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New Orleans!
Wonderful stay in New Orleans! A special thank you to the gentleman at the front desk Mr. Cody M. He was incredibly patient, kind, and always smiling. He went out of his way to help us and selected a room with a beautiful view for us. His warm service truly made our trip extra special. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay here again!
I loved my time at the Hilton Riverside! New Orleans is beautiful and the room (we were on the 23rd floor) had a gorgeous view of one of the bridges crossing the Mississippi. I was highly satisfied by the service of Brandon Green, who warmly greeted me and my partner at the Hilton Group Vacation desk and made us feel at ease. We ended up buying a 5-day package because he made it make sense. He also was very friendly, giving us amazing food recommendations that we took and loved. 5-star service for sure!
The overall experience of the hotel is not bad - the facilities are very clean and everyone is nice for the most part. I have been staying here for a huge corporate event for my husband. In one of the rooms last night, my phone was stolen. We used my husband's phone to locate it - it moved to the parking lot, by the time we got there, it had moved down the street. We tracked it on the find my app and have watched it move to surrounding cities all night long (Slidell, back to Nola, Kenner). Everyone from the corporate event are in from out of town and currently at the hotel, attending a conference so it was someone who works at the hotel who has possession of my phone. There were hotel staff members working the event, moving in and out of the room. The police never showed or called to file a report (called 3 times), even though we can physically see my phone on a map. The hotel staff was curt and nonchalant. Perhaps this happens a lot and they are used to it. I'm not sure. I was able to "file a report" with the hotel security, but it has done nothing except waste my time. Guard everything you own when you visit. Keep it physically on your person, even if you are at an event full of people you trust - I would not trust the hotel staff.
