This is hands-down one of the best Fairfield properties I’ve ever stayed in! The building is a beautiful historic conversion, so the rooms have these amazing high ceilings and huge windows that let in so much light. It feels much more like a boutique hotel than a typical chain. Everything was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff was so welcoming. 5 stars for the charm and the quality!

Location of hotel itself was decent, few block walk to French Quarter and far enough away to not hear the late night partying. Ideal location for families or people that are lowkey. The trash is picked up between 5am-5:30am on Tuesday and Friday morning, now some may ask how would I know this. Well, dear reader, the windows and walls are so thin you can hear every single thing that happens in the alleyway. There was also an employee that stood in said alleyway by dumpsters and watched Tiktoks and YouTube on FULL BLAST from 6am- 8am. I would like to add, I am NOT a light sleeper. Do not let them put you in room 214. The shower leaked. And not like a oh no, there’s a few droplets of water on the ground. We had to line the outside of the shower with multiple towels because it poured out and recreated its own mini version of a swamp. I don’t like having to get new towels every day (tree hugger) but it was necessary. The front desk workers were nice and housekeeping did a great job. We’re pretty low maintenance guests, but I turn into a gremlin when my sleep is messed with so unfortunately we will be finding a different hotel next year. Stay away from 214, better yet, don’t let them put you in a room with a window facing the alley!

We stayed at the Fairfield Marriott CBD while in town for a Pelicans game, and it was a solid choice for the location. Being in the Central Business District put us right where we needed to be. One small heads-up for first-timers: GPS navigation routed us to an awkward side street rather than the main entrance, which made for a slightly confusing arrival. Once we got sorted, though, the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, and valet service was prompt and efficient. The room was comfortable and met our needs without any complaints. Nothing overly fancy, but clean and functional — exactly what you want after a night out in New Orleans. Would I stay again? Yes. Good location, good staff, good value for what it is. If you’re heading to a Pelicans game or just need a well-situated spot in the CBD, this one delivers.

The staff at this hotel (especially the front desk) is very friendly and efficient---I never had to wait for anything. The location is perfect since it is walking distance to the central business district, the Superdome and the French Quarter. The lobby and the breakfast area on the main floor werenice. Stayed in a large 2-queen bed room which was fairly updated and clean; however the bathroom sink and vanity felt a little dated. Other than that, it was a pleasant and quiet stay. Thank you!

Good place to stay. The rooms are nice and clean, and the price was right. I found the staff to be welcoming and helpful. Breakfast service was great. We were a 20-minute walk from Cafe du Monde, so it was just about perfect.

Room: The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the seating and dining areas on the ground floor were nice and clean. The design in the hotel was tasteful. This hotel does not have a view. The room I was in immediately faced another building. Maid service: at this hotel, maid service was relatively late (compared to other places i have stayed at), taking place sometime in the afternoon (1-3 pm maybe). Every day, when maid service came through, the number of clean towels replaced in the room did not equal the number of towels used towels taken to be cleaned (as in, if there were 5 used towels, my party would maybe get 3 fresh ones). Asking for fresh towels was no problem however (I have stayed at a few hotels that are not so forthcoming with towels when asked). Location: This hotel is walking distance (less than a mile) from the Superdome and Canal Street. It is dark surrounding the hotel and a little rough, but the area is not completely rundown. The entrance to the hotel is wheelchair accessible (there is a ramp), but the sidewalks/crosswalks immediately surrounding the hotel are not very smooth. There are at least 2 parking garages within 2 blocks of the hotel.

Our stay here was just for one evening but we wished it could've been for longer. Both of our rooms were clean and seemed to have been updated recently. It was in a good location, and we felt safe coming and going. Our rooms were on the 2nd and 4th floor and both rooms were quiet and none of had any problems sleeping. The beds were comfortable all around. This definitely melt our expectations of a Marriot property.

Excellent location for the attractions in New Orleans, hotel is definitely clean, attractive and modern. Our room which overlooked the main entrance was clean without any odor. The beds were comfy and the bathroom had plenty of towels. You have to rely on valet parking, the one time fee was over $40. You call the front desk, give them the last 3 digits on the valet parking card that you're given, and allow 20 to 30 minutes for your vehicle to show up at the front door.

We went on a 5 state roadtrip and decided to stay at various hotel brands during the stay. I am a current Bonvoy member and I must say that I was extremely disappointed in the experience at this hotel. I could have chosen any brand of hotel. Although your people were wonderful, professional, polite and helpful, the hotel itself was terrible . My first room which was supposedly an upgrade that faced the back alley which had a garbage dumpster going ALL NIGHT LONG. After not sleeping all night, I spoke to a young woman at the front desk named Jeaux who was very apologetic and put us in a new room. The room was quieter so we were able to sleep but the general condition of the room was abysmal. Stained and cracked shower pans, moldy and torn caulking around the pan and sinks, rust on the water faucet fixture. At this point I had had enough of the hotel and went to stay with a competitor. Whoever is managing this hotel needs a refresher course. There is absolutely no security, and you have people living on the street freely entering the hotel and going ups the elevators. Your people tried to make the best of a bad situation but at this point I do not know if I will ever take a chance on another Marriott product again.
