Great stay and amazing value! • Location: Perfect. Just a short walk to the French Quarter and the waterfront. • Rooms & Interior: Recently renovated, beautiful, and very pleasant. • Parking: Very convenient, right nearby for $25 per entry. • Food: Standard American breakfast. The price is absolutely fantastic for this area!

We stayed a night here while traveling through New Orleans. The front desk was friendly. The parking is only available in a building behind the hotel so you will have to walk around buildings if you need to reach your car. It’s kind of sketchy to do so at night. I’m aware it’s a city, but there are many homeless and I wouldn’t feel safe if you are a woman or have small children. The room was efficient enough, but it stayed hot! It never dropped below 73. We had maintenance look and he reset it l, but it never changed. If you like to sleep in cooler air then this would not be ideal for you.

This is not your typical Hampton Inn! The building itself is historic and stunning, which gives the hotel so much more character. I was impressed by the high ceilings and the massive windows in our room—it felt incredibly open and bright. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were exactly what you expect from Hilton: super comfortable. 5 stars for the perfect blend of historic soul and modern luxury!

This was a last minute pick, we had one extra night in NOLA so we stayed here for one night. It is not in the center of the french quarter, which was fine for us. You still have to walk a few blocks to get to bourbon street, but otherwise okay. The rooms are small and slightly awkward. There was a pungent smell when we checked in, that could have been anything really. Water took forever to get a little warm, actually never really got warm. Staff was nice. It was more of a continential breakfast with a waffle maker. Overall not bad though.

The hotel is in a good location in my opinion but beyond that it isn't worth staying at. We stayed for 3 nights and it wasn't without difficulties. The night we arrived we were surprised to find the beds were smaller then expected. On the website we booked double queen beds but in the room I doubt those were queen's as they were smaller than other hotels. Second, the room was missing hand soap, shampoo and other such items. When we called to request missing items they weren't willing to bring them up and instead wanted us to come down to pick them up. We had been walking all day and even the thought of anymore walking (even down a few floors) was too much. The wifi which they claim is free truly isn't unless you join the hotel honors club or something like that. So yeah false advertising right there. Also their breakfast options are quite minimal. Not a lot to choose from and if you have any dietary restrictions good luck getting it accommodated; they do not care. Overall I have to rate this a 2/10 experience in comparison to other hotels I've stayed at. If you're here for a stress free vacation, this is not the place.

Right in front of the Canal ST Trolley is a huge win. Trolley system in N.O. is topnotch - no need to rent a car unless heading to a plantation. (which is worth it) The Room: its tiny. our king was shoe-horned into the space but it works. Corner units are smaller than wall rooms but the double windows are worth it. No Ventilation - can't open a window, you can't control the fan on the thermostat. Other than that it was clean and the service was mostly on spot. Breakfast: I enjoyed it. Not just a cereal and a yogurt. Hot eggs and sausage daily with a variety of others. Elevators are troublesome at busy times, only 4-5 people fit at once. There is 2. A few times I had two wait 5-7 minutes to get going. There are a lot of bad reviews for this prop. I didn't see why during my stay. I read them and was looking to be disappointed but after the immediate shock of the small room - I was pretty happy.

The location is great. You can walk to the shops and entertainment. Most activities are within 10 to 15 min. Breakfast is included. You have to pay for parking $25/day or less if you are gone most of the day. The view on the 15th floor gives you a view over the city. Tables for eating were wobbly. The facility is clean and safe.

I was ok with the location . The room was kinda old however the view from floor 12 was nice. I could see canal street. Breakfast was poor. With not alot of options I do not eat pork or cheese dairy. So I went to the ruby slipper 4 blocks away. I saw a roach in the bathroom and let the manager on duty know if I see another I need a new room. One time incident I guess. My sheets stink I had them changed at 12 am by Jake he was nice. I almost had my room canceled because I wanted to use a different card when I arrived. And I was literally on the airport run way taking off and had to give the lady at the front desk another card. I didnt like the fact she wasnt listening to me.

Hello, I wanted to share my experience. A friend stayed at this hotel and told me to come and see him. When I went, the hotel staff treated me very badly. I don't know if they're racist. The people there were dark-skinned, and they wouldn't let me in until my friend came to pick me up and open the door. It's sad to see the kind of employees they have with such racist behavior. They should remember their ancestors. At least my ancestors didn't suffer like theirs, and I don't mean to be racist, but they should remember their past because what they did to me was humiliating and very racist.

This was like my third time being at this location 226 Carondelet St, New Orleans, LA 70130. I was celebrate my birthday January 16 through the 18th 2026. It started out great until we had a problem with the service failure. There was no maintenance on the property. I had to wait until the next morning for them to unclog their toilet Talk with the on site manager Sharon she called her manager Kimberly Williams, who is the top manager for this location. She did not answer nor answer me back from my email that I sent her. This was totally unacceptable. I also went to their chat in their app which that goes to the front desk still no resolve into a little after 7 AM the next morning I Express a big company as such should have a better solution.
