Virgin Hotels New Orleans consistently receives high praise for its stylish design, unique room layout, and exceptional service. Guests rave about the friendly and attentive staff, particularly at the valet and front desk, creating a welcoming and memorable experience. Just got to spend a long weekend here and I can’t say enough nice things about the staff! Everyone was so kind and helpful. I was unlucky and was the one who just so happened to be in the ladies changing room by the pool when a creepy man decided to hangout and enjoy himself by watching me. I immediately went and told the bartender and the man was immediately escorted off the premises! The fact that I was taken seriously and not questioned felt good. Taking mine and everyone else’s safety seriously shows they truly care about their guests. Now for a more positive note! The rooms are so cool. You walk into a dressing room with closets, a sink, and a vanity. The water closet is separate and so is the shower. The shower even had a handheld and rain shower head! After the dressing room, there were two big doors that led into the bedroom. The banquette in the window was my companion’s favorite place to sit! The SMEG fridge used for the minibar was genius. They even have electric kettles in the rooms which was perfect for us! I highly recommend staying here while in New Orleans. Close enough to walk to the French Quarter but far enough away you have peace and quiet.

I stayed at Virgin Hotels New Orleans in October to celebrate a birthday, and the experience was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, Latrell and Keeva at the front desk set the tone for an amazing stay. They were incredibly inviting, friendly, and welcoming — the kind of team members who make you feel like you’re genuinely valued. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure I felt comfortable and informed. What really touched me was the thoughtful celebratory toast and chocolates they had sent up to my room. It was such a special gesture and made my birthday feel even more meaningful. Latrell and Keeva truly made my stay exceptional. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail are exactly why I’d return. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great service and a memorable experience!

Honestly I do not know where to begin. This was my first experience it's time staying at a Virgin Hotel property and it was a great decision. I checked in with Eleanor & Demontae were very hospitable and down to earth. They were very helpful and made checking in and absolute breeze. I was eligible for a room upgrade which they made happen in addition to other perks that came with the way I booked my room. The next day as I checked out I met other great staff members. I went downstairs to eat breakfast and Caitlyn was so helpful it seemed to be unreal. She was the hostess, but patiently helped me with all of my questions I had about the menu. It would have been very easy for her to just pass me off to somebody and go back to helping someone else or just being at the host stand, but she wanted to ensure that she was as helpful as possible with answering all of my questions. Natalia, Rebecca, & Assata all head warm energy and created a comfortable environment as I ate my breakfast. They were consistently checking on me and continued to keep their energy high as they answered any requests that I had. I chose the common house breakfast and it was very good. I also had the steak sandwich & added eggs. The sandwich would honestly have been perfect if the fig spread & bleu cheese was not part of the sandwich. The bread was toasted kind of hard also. If they make those modifications and changes to that sandwich it would be one of the best sellers on the menu by far. Keeva & Westley answered questions I had even in the midst of having a line out of the door of people checking in. They did not come off as flustered, too busy to entertain or answer my questions, and was very intentional about making sure each guest they were helping at the time received their attention. Akeyla added value to the day with her energy, humor, and personality. She is a great compliment to the team and adds value with the attributes she provides. Justin was in valet and was the first line of defense for great customer service. He was energetic, personable, and informative as I began my check-in when I first pulled up. We had a great conversation and he added to the Great atmosphere that the entire staff already created with my experience there. Every hotel has a certain level of customer service that they provide. Many times it comes off as stuffy and packaged. What I mean is that it seems as though they are overdoing it because they are in customer service and they are dealing with the customers and it does not seem genuine. Everyone I came in contact with at this location was personable, energetic, happy, helpful, and patient. They all were synchronized on one accord and the customer service seemed effortless as it was definitely a first-class experience. I highly recommend booking at this location so that you can not only enjoy a very different and unique hotel room, but phenomenal customer service as well.

Damian and Justin were excellent with helping us with the valet during our stay. Alsatian (Ashley) also offered great service in the Common club. The hotel is a great deal, especially if you're booking through the American Express portal.

Excellent by all metrics. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. I absolutely adored how tech-forward the rooms were, and the city view from my corner suite (Room 811) were breathtaking. The pillows were fluffy as was the bed, and shower water pressure and temperature were perfect. Quiet at night and walkable to popular destinations, including Canal Street. Staff were all around excellent, from Jerminy (sp) and Justin in valet, to front-desk/concierge, to restaurant and bar staff. All staff that I encountered were friendly, respectful, and attentive, without being overbearing. **For those (like me) that forgot an umbrella, they have one in the room, and it came in handy as it rained 2/3 days I stayed in NOLA. I thought this offering was a classy and thoughtful touch. I will be back!!! What a fantastic experience!! One of the best I’ve ever had a hotel in the U.S. Seriously, I am blown away.

I am giving 3 stars because while the staff was exceptional, the coordination for our stay was deeply disappointing. We visited on Dec 12, 2025, for our 40th anniversary—a "splurge" trip I had saved for and meticulously planned. The Pros: Every staff member we encountered—from valet and bell staff to the front desk and bartenders—was extremely professional and polite. Even while the hotel was "slammed" with a private event and some guests were being rude, the staff remained composed and courteous. The suite was beautiful, and the Christmas decor was stunning. The Cons: I pre-arranged three surprise items (drinks and a cheese board) to be in our room by 3:30 PM for a special anniversary surprise before our 5 PM dinner reservation. Despite multiple emails and a confirmation at check-in, the items were not there. After multiple calls and visits to the front desk, I was eventually told the kitchen was too busy for the cheese board and to just go to the bar for the drinks. They said we now had a 'Food and Beverage Credit', and we only got two drinks and went to the room. Ironically, the entire order finally arrived at our room just as we were walking out the door for dinner at 5 PM. The surprise was ruined, and the items sat untouched. To top it off, I found a $124 charge for these items on my bill at checkout. While the front desk eventually comped the charge, it took another 30 minutes of my morning to resolve. Conclusion: I reached out via the hotel’s internal feedback email on 12/29/25 to discuss this, but I have received no response. It is disappointing that a stay costing over $800 was marred by a lack of basic coordination on a pre-planned special occasion.

This hotel had such cute vibes! The rooms had great personality. The vanity/dressing area had great lighting for getting ready to go out. Appreciated the valet parking. Kind staff who accommodated early check in.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had an amazing experience. The hotel was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great, and walkable to the French Quarter, the Cable Car, and magazine st. It's really quiet at night which we appreciate. The room has just about everything you need, not too much not too little. It has a smart TV, ample of chargers, a cute mini fridge, and a mini bar. We also appreciate the small touches around the lights, it makes the room feel cozy and stylish. Downsides: no room cleaning service, elevators go out of service occasionally and there's a wait time, small lobby, tight hallway next to the reception with people trying to come n and out with suitcases. Flat pillows and soft beds that gave me back pain. Highly recommended!

Here’s a polished version of your hotel review: --- **Review** The hotel itself is truly beautiful — the decoration is modern and stylish, and the overall atmosphere is wonderful. It’s a shame that such a nice property is let down by extremely poor service. During my entire stay, my room was never cleaned, even though I complained about it multiple times at the front desk. For a hotel of this category, this is completely unacceptable. I would have loved to give a higher rating because the place is gorgeous, but basic service standards were simply not met.

I was a Virgin Hotel virgin. I love how unique this hotel is! The service was great even though there were a lot of newbies. I want to stay at other Virgin Hotels and even look into the cruises because of this stay. The drinks are amazing and the 13th floor is a vibe. Definitely continue having events up there. Thank you Justin P., Damien V., and Ryan B.!
