This location offers exceptional service from the front desk and excellent proximity to the Warehouse Arts District and Convention Center, boasting a beautiful renovated lobby. However, the property faces significant challenges with noise disturbance, specifically from a nightclub on S. Peters Street, and inconsistent guest handling regarding late check-ins and maintenance issues.
Visiting from Baltimore. The stay has been amazing. Great space in the room king bed is comfortable & soft. hospitality is great. Front desk help Treva was outstanding. Got locked out the room and she help retrieve keys quickly. 10/10 service.
My partner and I stayed here for two days, and it was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Check-in was smooth, and we immediately felt taken care of. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable — we both slept better than we have in weeks. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work because everything felt fresh, clean, and well-organized. What stood out the most was the level of service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and offering assistance when needed. The hotel itself was quiet, peaceful, and perfect for a couple’s retreat. We appreciated the relaxing atmosphere after long days out. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and we would absolutely stay here again. If you’re looking for a clean hotel with comfortable beds and exceptional staff, this is a great choice.
Don at the front desk is a true KING. I cannot say enough incredible things about him!! Truly the best experience thanks to him. He is a gem and deserves everything good in this world!!! This hotel was so central to everything and so clean. We had the best time during MG!!
We recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott for Mardi Gras and truly appreciate the service provided to us by Tyler, the front desk associate and Webster, the valet supervisor! They were the chef’s kiss to this trip as they showed great southern hospitality and made us out of towners feel like we were home. I would wish the rooms have slightly better lighting, but off the strength of customer service, I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Tyler and Webster !
Great location not far from Port and even offers parking during your cruise. Great b overall location in the art district and walking distance to some great restaurants and the warehouse district.
I stayed at your hotel from November 21-23, 2025. When we arrived on 11/21, we had to wait several hours because the room was not ready. We were also charged a $100 deposit, and I was told that the money would be returned to me after checkout. It has now been several days, and still have not received my $100 refund.
DO NOT STAY HERE if you want any rest. I am giving the location a 1 despite it's proximity to the convention center. The rooms on S. Peters Street are right above a club, which is not mentioned in the booking. Not only is it incredibly loud until 2am, the bass was rattling my bed. It's unbelievable that they do not disclose this when booking the rooms. Most of the people that booked the same week were also working professionals there for a conference who shared my same sentiment. When I called to report this to the staff, I was met with hostility. Additionally, the hotel is doing much needed maintenance so the following mornings after no sleep, there are maintenance people banging around very loudly, first thing in the morning with no regard for people trying to rest. Marriot - Do you see the trend in all of these 1 star reviews? It's shameful to be taking people's money without being transparent.
Avoid this property at all costs. Tina, who was behind the desk last night has the demeanor of a pit viper and lied to my face. We arrive last night and the hotel had given away our room, even though we paid in full in advance, and gave us a lower quality room. That room was directly across the street from a concert hall / night club. The noise was so loud that the windows were shaking. After being in the room for 15 minutes, my wife and I promptly left. We spoke with Tina, again, at the front desk, told her the hotel did not meet Marriott standards and that we were leaving. She verified that we would not be charged and would be refunded. I noticed this morning when a bill was in my email that she lied, and we had been charged.
Nightmare on Fulton. Staying here has been the worst experience of any of my stays in New Orleans EVER. My room faces Fulton street and it sounds like there is a night club in my room. No where in the booking does it say loud room. Additionally, the elevators are dirty along with the rooms. The only partially nice part about this place is the lobby. When I asked to be moved I was met with hostility. The staff was rude beyond belief when trying to resolve the issue. I have stayed in New Orleans many times and I cannot believe this is the treatment I am receiving….. DONT EVER STAY HERE. It’s not worth it.
Traveled to New Orleans, which is my hometown, for a convention. I stayed for 4 nights. The walk to the convention center was very easy. Every member of the hotel staff that we encountered were super friendly and approachable. Food in the Bistro was great as well! Courtyard/Pool area is beautiful and peaceful. Our room was clean and well stocked. There was some renovations happening, but that did not affect our room whatsoever. Location is close to so many restaurants and attractions and just a 15 minute walk or 5 minute Uber ride to the French Quarter. Hotel provided a list of restaurants within walking distance, which was awesome! The newly renovated lobby is absolutely beautiful! Love the exposed wood beams and brick. It gave the lobby a rustic atmosphere mixed with a modern twist. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to New Orleans! Even with renovations going on, I still had to give credit where credit is due. Whoever manages this hotel deserves a reward. I'm sure its not easy to wow your guests with an ongoing renovation, and yet, I was amazed at the level of service, friendliness, and cleanliness. Keep up the great work! I can't wait to see what it all looks like after the renovations are fully complete! I definitely recommend anyone stay here! Thanks again for an amazing stay!
