This historic, restored Marriot Tribute Portfolio hotel is celebrated for exceptional, personalized service and a charming, quintessential New Orleans atmosphere, often described as luxurious despite its size. However, guests frequently report operational lapses, including malfunctioning air conditioning, plumbing issues, and unsatisfactory responses to guest harassment complaints.

If I didn't have to go elsewhere for a full breakfast and if the toilet didn't run constantly and then become impossible to flush over the first 2 days I would have said 10/10. It was a 8/10 and I would definitely stay here again. I would recommend ear plugs if you're a light sleeper like me. The doors slam on exiting rooms and you can hear your neighbors and pipes. The hotel itself is beautiful. I would appreciate more seafood and nut free selections at the bar. I have allergies. The brussel sprouts were good wish they had maple bacon ones as an option, too. The Palomaloma was ?? amazing.

The staff are really friendly! The room is spacious and clean. The gym is also great. My only complaint is that the water pressure on the 6th floor is very low, lower than a your home bathroom. We communicated the issue via text but it doesn't really help.

I was here a while back in July of 2025, but this hotel was absolutely amazing. I still talk about it in 2026, one of the best hotels I’ve visited in New Orleans also, the service here was amazing. I’ll never forget Paula and Shawna, they really deserve everything good coming their way. The way they both went above and beyond I do hope they’re doing well. As far for the hotel, very clean, hospitable, and quiet. So if you’re looking for a good stay I’d say this is a good catch, wasn’t too expensive for a 3 day trip either.

The Le Pavillon is a beautiful building. The beds were super comfortable , the rooms were nice and clean and spacious, and the hotel is located in a great location. But my favorite part about the hotel was the amazing staff! Big shout out to Mel at the front desk. So sweet and kind. Also wanted to shout out to Mr. Michael who helped us with our luggage. He was super knowledgeable of the city and was very cool. Also Maria who works in the restaurant was a doll. So polite and super fun. Last but certainly not least is Ms. Paula at the front desk. Honestly I’d come back just to see her alone. Super personable, kind, very sweet, and made me feel right at home! I will definitely stay here again! My only complaint about the hotel are the toilets. They don’t flush the strongest. Takes a couple of flushes to get everything down depending on what you left on there.

Don’t go there. This was supposed to be a joyful trip, but our experience at this hotel was extremely distressing. During our three-day stay, we experienced two separate incidents of sexual harassment in the hotel bar, involving different white men. In the first incident, a drunk white man approached us and made explicit sexual comments about our underwear. In the second incident, one of us was touched on the back and buttocks by another middle-aged white man without consent. What made this worse was the hotel’s response. They call themselves a four-star luxury hotel, while the bar had no visible security personnel and no functioning surveillance cameras. When we went to the front desk for help the second night, we were not advised to contact the police and were instead told to wait until the next day to speak with a manager. The following day, management simply told us to call the police, compensations are only possible if the police confirmed that was the hotel’s responsibility. The responding officer dismissed the incident as “not sexual,” which caused further psychological harm. As young Asian women in our 20s, we felt unsafe, unsupported, and mocked rather than protected. Given the lack of security, surveillance, and proper response, it is hard to believe that incidents like this are purely accidental rather than enabled by poor management. We also received no compensation or meaningful follow-up from the hotel. A hotel of this rating and price should take guest safety seriously. However, this was not our experience.

I am elated with the service and accommodations here at Le Pavilion!! Everyone was excellent. Ms. Stacy, you are amazing. Your teams here are absolutely fantastic. Your front desk associates and your valet team members were bright and talented. Everyone was friendly, courteous and helpful throughout my stay. I will return here every time I visit NOLA.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. Unfortunately that is the only good experience from my current stay. Upon checking in we were not given the room type that we booked and paid for. We booked a king size bed and we were given a room with two double beds. When we entered the room we noticed that the room was warm. The thermostat was reading 77 degrees. Immediately we called the front desk and they did send an "engineer " to look at the air conditioner. Within 20 minutes someone did arrive with a ladder and made some adjustments. We did leave for dinner and 3 hours later the temperature was reading 73 degrees. Once again at 8:22pm we called the front desk about the air conditioner. Another "engineer " and another ladder later and another adjustment...we had hopes it would be fixed. We left to attend a Christmas Party and at 12:47am (4 hours later) the temperature was reading 71 degrees. At this rate maybe by the time we check out the room will be comfortable enough to sleep in. I just wonder if we would have received the room we booked would we have a working air conditioner? I have been to this breathtaking hotel for events and lunches, and I have always wanted to be a guest. This unfortunately will be my last visit.

The service here is amazing. Everyone is so helpful and friendly and makes you feel welcome. The hotel is full of character and charm. The detail and design is incredible and makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere special. The rooms are nice. There were a few less functional design elements - the shower door blocks the handle to turn on the shower, so you have to get all the way to turn it on. And the toilet seat hit the counter top and wouldn’t stay up unless you held it. Other than that, great stuff. Bed was comfy, pillows were soft. I’d stay here again!

My stay at Le Pavillon New Orleans was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the front desk team—especially Chris, Paula, and the rest of the staff—made me feel genuinely welcomed. Their warmth, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond set the tone for an amazing visit. The housekeeping team and their manager were equally impressive. Every encounter was met with kindness, and the level of care they put into maintaining the rooms and common areas was evident and deeply appreciated. A very special shout-out goes to Patrick, the hotel manager, who was simply phenomenal. He continuously checked on us throughout our stay, ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed. That level of service is rare, and it truly made our experience unforgettable. The rooms are spacious, beautifully appointed, and thoughtfully designed—the perfect blend of comfort and elegance. And of course, I can’t forget the beloved peanut butter and jelly bar each night! It’s such a nostalgic, charming touch and easily one of my favorite amenities. As if the service and atmosphere weren’t enough, the location is ideal—close to sports arenas, restaurants, and everything you want to explore in New Orleans. Le Pavillon has officially become a fan favorite of mine, and I absolutely cannot wait to return. Highly recommended!
