Guests consistently praise the Loews New Orleans Hotel for its exceptional, luxurious rooms with incredible city and river views, very friendly and accommodating staff, and a prime, walkable location near the French Quarter and attractions.
We had a wonderful stay! The location was very convenient, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the food and drinks were excellent. The team members were incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful, which made our experience even better. We would definitely stay here again!
My stay at the Loews Hotel New Orleans was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, everything felt elevated yet welcoming, striking the perfect balance between luxury and the unmistakable spirit of New Orleans. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful details that made it easy to relax after a day out in the city. The views were stunning—whether overlooking the river or the city skyline, it was the kind of view you actually pause to appreciate. The food and drinks were another highlight. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared, and the bar offerings were just as impressive. Great cocktails, a relaxed but vibrant atmosphere, and live music that truly captured the soul of NOLA made spending time in the hotel feel like part of the experience, not just a place to sleep. What really stood out was the overall vibe. The music, the energy, and the ambiance all came together to create an authentic New Orleans feel while still offering a refined, upscale environment. It felt lively without being overwhelming and luxurious without being stuffy. If you’re looking for a hotel that offers comfort, incredible views, great food and drinks, and a true New Orleans atmosphere, Loews is absolutely the place to stay. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
Hannah was the most amazing bartender I had ever had. She was personal, and helpful with founding myself around town. Hannah gave recmommandedations to events happening around town. She really made us feel like we are at home. Would recommend this place to anyone coming close this area.
I'll start by saying, the location was great & some staff very friendly. The front desk could use some help when it comes to customer service. On our first day. Our rooms weren't ready. They didn't have sheets ready, so weird. Other guests were waiting as well & indicated they were told sheets were also an issue We we issued a $75 food & beverage voucher for the inconvenience which was nice but never showed up on my account & I had to ask that it get applied at check out. On the 2nd day I woke to use the restroom only to see a roach in the bathroom. I called and was told they would spray the room & they were all booked up and couldn't move us. We left at 9am & because my son has severe allergies I had to be out of our room for hours. Nobody ever called to give me a status, I called & was transferred to about 5 people before being told my room "should" be ok to return to (such a reassuring response). Never received an apology for the inconvenience. Zero customer service actually. I've never had to leave a hotel room to have it sprayed for bugs in my life. Needless to say we were uncomfortable our entire stay, especially after being out of the room for hours only to come back and find the roach in the bathroom still very much alive & well! Then there was a previous guests bra left in the closet. Hope its removed for the next guest. The bathroom was falling apart, tiles coming lose. For the price we paid I was hoping to at the very least not share my room with a roach. I would never recommend or stay at this lowes location ever again if any for that matter. At check out the man at the counter acted like he was doing me a favor. Very cold, dismissive and robotic. I honestly made it a point to write this review before I got on my flight back home thats how posses I was. Lowes should do better.
Hotel is ok. Security is good since they lock doors after 10pm I think and we need to use access card to enter. Elevators are accessed via card only at all times. Valet is not very easy, wait times would be very high, under staffed I guess. Location is perfect and walkable for attractions like Riverwalk, Jackson square etc. Staff are ok. Room space is good. No microwave. Bathrooms need remodeling. Sync and tub makes a lot of noise. It feels more of a 3/3.5 star class than a 4 star. We stayed 2 nights and there was no room cleaning, so I am guessing it wud be alternate days.
Great service from the front desk and special shout out to Lan who helped us with our bags and car. He made us feel very welcome and wished us well on the way out. Beds were comfortable. The room was very nice. The location is perfect for a visit to the aquarium, boardwalk, and zoo.
The hotel is a great place to stay, offering comfortable rooms with breathtaking views from the higher floors. What's more, the staff is warm and welcoming, ensuring both you and your service dog have a pleasant experience. The on-site restaurant provides a diverse menu at reasonable prices, adding to the hotel's overall appeal. Another perk of staying at this hotel is its prime location—many popular attractions, such as the French Market and Riverwalk, are within walking distance. Overall, this hotel is an ideal choice for a memorable and convenient stay.
Always enjoyed staying here in the past, but the experience was not great this time around. Security knocked on my door after being in my room for 5 minutes stating I was too loud - I was on the phone with my mother letting her know we made it back safely to my hotel! Do I have to whisper? Also, my husband left his bag in the room . We returned to the hotel after checkout to see if it was found. I wish I remembered her name, but the woman at the front desk wasn’t not friendly at all! She didn’t greet us and honestly was talking to us as if we were bothering her. I’ve never been treated like that anywhere! For these reasons, I won’t be returning here anytime soon. I usually stay here every time I visit New Orleans. I’ll spend my money elsewhere. I just didn’t feel good about the place when I left. Beverly at the front desk is always amazing at check in though! And the valet attendants are friendly and extremely helpful!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Loews in New Orleans! The lobby was beautiful and had such a refreshing scent the moment we walked in. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made check-in a breeze. Our room was clean and comfortable with a wonderful view of the city, though a little dated, everything was well kept. We traveled with our two kids and found it to be very family-friendly and within walking distance of pretty much everything we wanted to do. We’d definitely stay here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Loews! We come to New Orleans every year, and would love to stay here again next time. It’s a great location being right outside the French quarter, but right next to Cesar’s, shopping & great restaurants. So many things to cover- The overall hotel aesthetic is so gorgeous! The breakfast buffet was delicious and so worth the price. The hotel robes were the most comfortable ones I’ve ever put on my body! I should have bought one to take home with me. Definitelyyyy order yourself some beignets for room service if you need a sweet treat! They were better than anywhere else we got them in all of New Orleans. Last but not least, the staff was so nsweet and accommodating & they made my husband’s birthday feel extra special! We booked through booking and got a great price! We were overall blown away with our stay and would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking to experience New Orleans.
