Caesars New Orleans offers a central location in the heart of the French Quarter and a vibrant casino experience. While some guests praise the renovated rooms and friendly staff, recent reviews highlight issues with outdated facilities, elevator problems, inconsistent service, and unresolved billing discrepancies. Overall, the property presents a mixed experience with pockets of excellence overshadowed by operational shortcomings.

Overall: Pretty Disappointed. We stayed at Harrah's Friday-Sunday. Room/Hotel - Was decent. Was not updated, no USB-C chargers, very dark room. The sheets had a stain. We never got the body wash in the shower filled. Our used towels from Friday night were taken late Saturday but not replaced with new. Saturday morning into the early afternoon the hotel only had 1 out of 6 elevators running. Close to 30 minutes we had to wait for an elevator, and even then we were forced to go all the way to the top (another 16 floors) before getting down to the lobby. Caesar's Casino - Not a single hand sanitizer dispenser anywhere. No bottles at any counters, no dispensers by any restaurants. Trash that we had noticed at a machine Friday night, was still there Saturday afternoon. Caesar's has the casino facilities severely understaffed, causing LONG waits for food, the cashier cage etc. Many of the slot machines had at minimum no sound, or were down completely. Leaving - After about a 10 minute wait for a valet to acknowledge us, we approached one who said he'd call in our pick up. After almost 45 minutes, I had to search out a cashier who still had our keys in the office. So our vehicle pick up had never actually been called in to begin with. The staff that are there are nice and there are plenty more things that could've been worse. But overall we were not impressed.

Our recent trip for my wife’s birthday at Caesars New Orleans was a complete success! The new Caesars Tower exceeded all our expectations. While the room was great, the stay was made perfect by a front desk associate named Markia. She did an AMAZING job and helped my family and I several times throughout our trip. I highly recommend staying there just for her second to none service! Great job and see you soon Markia!

Overall this is a great place to play and stay. We stayed in the Harrahs building (1215). The water pressure was an issue when the hot water was turned on and overall I feel the hotel could use a deep clean. Just grime build up noticeable in many places but we would stay again due to the location and overall ambience.

I came and visited Caesars New Orleans through a charter offer and let me just say how impressed I was. The hotel room was beautiful. The location is great and so easy walkable to the French Quarter. I want to specially call out Mylinn at the front desk. I asked about my options for a late checkout since the charter flight wasn’t until 7:55pm. She was able to comp me another night and move things around so my friend and I could sleep longer and stay in the room until we had to head to the airport. She did so with a smile and no questions asked. This whole experience has been incredible. I’m definitely a loyal customer now, based on the cleanliness of the room, the accommodations of the staff, and Mylinn’s professionalism and customer centric service. I’ll definitely be back!

Our stay has been wonderful. We checked in with Nkenge and she was lovely. She was professional and she made our check in experience a pleasant one. She answered all of our questions and she made sure we had everything we needed. She provided outstanding customer service.

This was my first time staying at Caesars Casino Hotel in New Orleans. The hotel is beautiful and very clean, and at first I loved everything and even considered coming back. Unfortunately, that changed after an issue with the in-room mini snack bar. My little sister purchased a snack from the mini bar, and after eating it we realized it was expired. We checked the drawer and found several more expired items, which we threw away. My sister reported this to a manager named Stanley, who told us not to worry, said the charge would be disputed, and offered us a $100 dining credit, so we thought the issue was resolved. However, at checkout I noticed I was charged an early check-in fee even though I did not check in until 6 PM. I only stopped by around 2 PM to drop off my luggage and spoke to customer service before leaving to dispute the charge. After I had already left New Orleans, I also saw charges for trail mix, Snickers, and Lay’s—items we did not eat and cannot eat due to nut allergies. I have called the hotel multiple times and was repeatedly transferred. I was even told someone would reach out, but no one ever did. It has now been weeks with no resolution. This situation was very disappointing and unprofessional, leaving expired food in guest rooms and charging guests for items they did not consume.Especially charging such an expensive price for snacks that’s expired

This has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the area. The casino is refreshingly smoke-free, with smoking allowed only in the outdoor gaming area, which makes the experience much more enjoyable. Its location is another huge plus—right near some of the best restaurants New Orleans has to offer. Getting around is easy and fun, whether you choose to walk, hop on a rickshaw, or take a charming horse-drawn carriage ride. Everything is conveniently close, and the atmosphere feels lively without being overwhelming. It’s a great place to stay, play, and explore the city.

The location is convenient for tourists in the area. My husband likes to visit casinos and I typically make the most of my time walking around or drinking coffee or soda. There are no free drinks here… there are plenty of machines, a high rollers area, a poker tournament area (cool to see) and the sports bar is amazing with the score ticker above the bar and the wall of televisions. Nice place to watch a game. Go BEARS!!

Water pressure was low, water temp was all over the place in the shower, which needs updating. Elevators were okay with the exception of the parking garage. The parking garage elevators were trash. One was broken and the other was slow. For the whole 4 days we stayed we took the syairs more often than not. The stairwell smelled like pee and vomit. The coffee place didnt know how to make a white chocolate mocha. Other than that, the staff was really friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean amd stocked.

I am not much of a gamblin' (wo)man but I surprised myself and had the best time here. I'm giving an overall 4-stars because there were several service staff that were very snippy. My bread & butter is the service industry so I know it's possible to tie on a smile and greet with grace. Overall it was a lovely experience and you never know what sort of day someone is having.
