The New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District consistently receives high marks for its service, particularly from its front desk and concierge staff, with several reviewers praising individual employees like Heather, Ceasar, and Darren. The location is convenient for convention-goers and those exploring the French Quarter, and the hotel offers a comfortable stay with a range of amenities. However, recent reviews have highlighted challenges related to construction and parking.
I stayed here for a family function recently, and I just want to compliment the service first and foremost! The bell staff was really helpful when I had an atypical need to get boxes from further than just my car, and they worked with me to find a solution that got everything to and from its destination effectively. The front desk staff was super helpful in making sure everyone had the right access to the right rooms for our family function while still maintaining security, identity checks, and discretion. While I didn't personally use the valet service, Josh at the valet stand was amazingly friendly to all of my relatives who did. What's more is that, as we were returning from outdoor family photos on foot, he proactively got some water bottles in an ice bucket for us. If you're looking to host a family function in New Orleans, one thing we found to be especially helpful about this hotel is its relatively small footprint per floor. There was plenty of room for everyone, but because it's taller than wide it limited the number of steps down each hallway between everyone's rooms. Not a big deal for the young and limber, but definitely helpful for folks with decreased mobility. The rooms themselves were exactly what we needed. If you're looking for four walls and a bed, there's options like in any big city, but if I ever return to New Orleans it's the *service* at the Marriott Warehouse Arts District that will bring me back. Apologies to the specific staff folks I interacted with whose names escape me; my description above generally applies to everyone across a 4-day stay.
Just checked in and received the best service! Heather at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She was warm, welcoming, and gave us fantastic dinner recommendations. She made a point to recognize my Gold member status, which made me feel truly valued. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and thanks to Heather, we were given a room with a great view on the 15th floor. Heather, thank you for making this trip so special for my daughter and me. We truly appreciate you!
Excellent hotel. No complaints. The staff is very polite. Especially DeJuana the afternoon front desk receptionist. She was excellent. Her management should praise her. Above and beyond. Rooms very clean. Definitely recommend.
Great location. Close to everything, but away from noisy crowds. Rooms were clean. M Club was great and there was a Starbucks in the lobby. We parked in the parking lot adjacent to the hotel for $35 a day rather than pay $50 for valet service. No complaints.
I stayed at the NO Marriott Warehouse District in October and found that the staff– with the exception of a rude and dismissive bartender guy– were consummate professionals. Our conference was held here as well and the food, refreshments, and assistance with the event was exceptional. They even accommodated special diets and found me a lighter to sage myself, LOL! The rooms were spacious, well kept, and modern. The bed was comfortable, but I unfortunately received a room that was not feather-free. I didn't complain about it because I had already unpacked everything before I realized it. I just covered the pillows with two very thick sweatshirts so I didn't have an allergic reaction. Apart from the rude bartender who walked up to me standing at the bar and said, "What would you like?" in response to my "Good afternoon," and the feather-free room slip-up, everything was exceptional. It was also nicely located across from the convention center and within walking distance of shopping and the Bourbon/Frenchman Sts.
Hotel is under construction on certain floors. They put us on a floor and construction started at 7 am without telling us. Had do not disturb on door and housekeeping came in anyway, or tried to. I had the deadbolt locked. Called downstairs and the person answering the phone was very rude. Guess I wasn’t the only one calling. We were here for a conference. Drills and demo next to my head, not kidding.
We've stayed at several marriotts in NOLA, but we were pleasantly surprised to get the best service at this one. The M Club is well attended to by the staff (the grits are perfect). The bartenders are friendly. At the check-in desk we had a wonderful welcoming experience with Ceasar. The lovely lady who brought us firm pillows must be a track star -- she seemed to run to address our every request; and was so polite (her name escapes me but it starts with a Y). This location is across from the Riverwalk shops and a short walk to some of our favorite restaurants (Mother's). We will definitely be back to this Marriott.
Our recent stay at the Marriott in the Warehouse Arts District, from June 20th to 23rd, left us with a somewhat mixed impression. The property is beautiful, with a modern aesthetic and thoughtfully updated rooms. At check-in, the front desk staff was professional and welcoming, kindly upgrading us to a junior suite. The room itself was beautiful and offered a stunning city view. One of the highlights was the M Lounge. It was consistently well-stocked throughout the day, offering a great selection of snacks, breakfast items, afternoon hors d'oeuvres, and evening desserts. The variety and quality made it a standout feature of the stay. That said, a couple of areas fell short. Housekeeping was a notable issue—despite seeing staff on our floor, our room was never serviced during the three-night weekend stay. Trash remained uncollected, and amenities weren’t replenished, which detracted from the overall experience. Breakfast service in the M Lounge on Monday, June 23rd, also left room for improvement. One staff interaction felt unnecessarily abrupt when I misunderstood a posted advisory. While I acknowledge the oversight, the response lacked the professionalism and courtesy expected in a hospitality setting. Overall, the hotel’s prime location—directly across from the convention center and within walking distance of the French Quarter and Mardi Gras World—makes it a convenient and appealing choice, especially for conference attendees. I’d stay here again, but hope to see more consistency in service across departments.
Our room was so loud at night. The room was shaking from the club across the street. I didn’t sleep well at all because the music never stopped. I wasn’t staying there to party. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived. Which was late. The booking had been changed from 2 queens to a single King. Which was a problem for both me and my friend. Our sink was clogged too, and never drained. It was gross.
I had an outstanding stay at the New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District during my trip for the 49ers vs. Saints game! The location couldn’t be better—right in the Warehouse District with easy access to the Superdome, French Quarter, and some of the best dining spots in the city. The room was spacious, modern, and spotless. The hardwood-style floors, large desk, and sitting area by the window gave it a really upscale feel, while the bed was incredibly comfortable for a perfect night’s rest. The bathroom was clean and stylish with a bright, backlit mirror and plenty of towels stocked. The hotel itself has some great amenities. The lobby bar was a lively spot and the perfect place to grab a drink before or after heading out into the city. As a Platinum Elite member, I also had access to the M Club, which was a fantastic perk—complimentary breakfast in the morning, plus snacks and drinks available throughout the day, made the stay even more enjoyable. Service was top-notch too. The staff was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. And one of the coolest parts—the 49ers team stayed here too! It made the whole weekend feel extra special, knowing I was sharing the hotel with the players. Overall, this hotel delivered on every level. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans, whether for a game, business, or just to explore the city.
