I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I walked through the doors, the customer service was exceptional. The front desk staff greeted me warmly, checked me in quickly, and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Throughout my visit, every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room spotless, and any request I made was handled promptly and with a smile. What really stood out was the attention to detail and the way the team made me feel valued as a guest. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority here. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, the amenities were great, and the service truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for not just a place to stay, but a place where you feel genuinely cared for. I will definitely be returning! Thank you Shamekia Wilson and you team.

My husband, daughter and I just finished our stay at The Riverfront, as we were attending her volleyball tournament at the convention center. The location was good, very convenient. The rooms were really disappointing, not very spacious with a very small bathroom, and the smallest refrigerator I’ve ever seen. This isn’t ideal for families with players at this tournament, as we have several items we need refrigerated to bring to the tournament. The rooms were pretty dated, without many electric outlets, and lacking modern receptacles for devices. There was a nightly $25 resort fee, I have no idea what that was for, as there were no resort amenities. There are no ice machines on each floor, so you have to call housekeeping every time you need ice, which took a while to get most times. Service overall was definitely lacking. I’m in hotels every other week for work, this is not a 4 star hotel as it’s listed, it’s a 3 star. For what we paid, I definitely expected better.

Location was very convenient- could walk to French Quarter and the Riverwalk is right across the street. The room was very dirty when we checked in- empty bottles and half-drank water bottle in the room, bathroom was not cleaned, and it just felt very dirty. The breakfast buffet is definitely not worth the $25 per person- we were in a time crunch so we used it once but everything was just very cold or soggy and not at all worth the money. If you are short on time, just walk over to Marriott's Starbucks and get some muffins/pastries. It is literally a 1-minute walk and would save you the trouble of eating soggy mush. The front desk staff were all nice. This is definitely not a 4-star hotel so be aware that you will be in a dirty room. For Mardi Gras season, you cannot beat the location because of the parade routes. You will have to plan ahead and remember to park your car BEFORE you get blocked off because they will not allow any traffic to come through during the parades. They will go on until well past 10:30pm so be aware.

The rooms are a little dated, but decent; the food isn't great (there's plenty of great restaurants around); and the elevator will stop on every single floor; the liquid body wash was delightful; the highlight of the trip was the bartender, Leonard! He is quite knowledgeable about the city and the drinks, and facilitated tons of great conversation throughout the guests. The valet guys were also very nice.

Prior to check-in, I contacted the hotel to let them know I would be having a mobility scooter delivered and asked if it would be possible for my friends and me to be on the same floor and in nearby rooms. Not only did the hotel accommodate all of this, but they went above and beyond by proactively moving me into an accessible room. When the scooter arrived, it turned out to be too large for the room. Every single time I was done using it, the staff graciously stored it securely for me and then retrieved it each evening without hesitation. The kindness, patience, and professionalism shown by every staff member I encountered was truly exceptional. I stay in a lot of hotels, and I can honestly say this was the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever experienced. I wish I had gotten everyone’s names so I could personally thank each person who helped me as I navigated a new disability during this stay. The room was great, the accommodations were excellent, and overall it was a wonderful experience. I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel and its staff. Thank you for making my stay not just comfortable, but genuinely supportive and welcoming.

Worst beds ever experienced in a hotel. Not queen beds as advertised and very hard. This hotel is understaffed and not ready for full occupancy. Poor bartender had to work the whole restaurant and vise versa the entire weekend. The contracted valet guys were not warned of the hotel being full and just two of them worked all night to get people in and cars parked. This is definitely a management problem. The staff itself was great. The elevators broke by the second night and was a nightmare. Don't waste your money, go across the street to Hilton

My first night at the hotel, I went to have dinner down in the bar, but was told I had to order and eat in the dining room. There was only one person working in the restaurant juggling 8 tables of people when I sat down. I had to wait a while before I was given a menu and again had to wait to have my order taken. The food was good, but I had expected better service. My room was nice, but I noticed dust in the corners of the room. House keeping was efficient with cleaning my room each morning and it was done before I got back from breakfast. The bed was comfortable, but it had a mattress topper that was too small for the bed, and didn’t stay flat in place throughout the night. This was probably due to the bottom sheet not being fitted to the bed. It was a loose bottom sheet that seemed too small to stay tucked into the mattress. When waking up in the morning I could clearly see the side of the mattress which has never occurred in other hotels I’ve stayed in. Overall, I did enjoy my stay at The Riverfront Hotel. Much of the city was walkable from this location and it served its purpose as a quiet place to rest after a long day of site seeing, but there could definitely be a few small improvements to increase guests experience.

Went for a family event in the quarter and could not stay at our normal place but found this place on expedia for a really good price. The service was great from the valet to the bartender and the front desk. The decor of the place was elegant, and I felt like I was staying in $1000 a night room. We go to the NOLA several times a year and I think this will be our go to place moving forward. It is not in the heart of the quarter but close enough to walk, which is nice having small children and it being rather quiet.

Nice hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff and in a good location to walk to museums, the French Quarter, etc. My reason for the 3 stars is their parking arrangement. When looking for a place to stay for the weekend I look for a place with parking available, which they say they had. Well, their "parking" is a far off place where you can't take your car by yourself, but you need to use their valet service by force, which they charged me $60 per day. Good thing I was only there for 2 days, so I got charged %40 more than what I had booked for just for parking, which at the end I found they parked my car at the lot on the corner and I went over to get it myself when I left. In my opinion, something that should be clearly disclosed on the websites where you do your reservation and not by the staff at their front desk when you're already there.

Keith checked us in and was extremely professional and knowledgeable about his work. He clearly explained how to use our key card to access the elevators and went over all the amenities that came with the room. He was truly refreshing to interact with, smiling the entire time and never appearing overwhelmed, even with the large crowd checking in for Bayou Classic Weekend! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return. The location was very convenient, you can park your car and walk to everything you need! Thank you, Keith, for your phenomenal service. It truly made a difference!
