I will absolutely be visiting again. From the staff, to the room, everything about this hotel is amazing 5 stars isn’t enough. The staff all around is amazing but the second shift is near and dear to our hearts. Rihyanna, Lisa, and andre are the nicest most wonderful people you can encounter in New Orleans thank you for all yall have done for us! If you ever have a pleasure of meeting these wonderful souls you are lucky! We love place D’Armes and we love New Orleans we will definitely be back :)

We had a wonderful stay at Place d'Armes! The location couldn't have been better—right in the heart of the French Quarter, making it easy to walk to everything. The hotel itself has so much authentic charm and really captures the character and elegance of old New Orleans. The staff was incredibly warm and hospitable throughout our stay. Although our room was smaller than a typical hotel room, it was beautifully furnished, cozy, and full of classic style that fit the historic atmosphere perfectly. The only downside was the valet parking. Our car was kept in a separate parking location, so we had to request an attendant to retrieve it whenever we needed it. The staff was always accommodating, but the process felt a bit inconvenient compared to having on-site parking. Patrice and Andrew was exceptional in their hospitality..at some point, Patrice went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable. Overall, the charm, location, and exceptional hospitality far outweighed the minor inconvenience. We'd happily stay here again.

Our experience with the Place was absolutely horrendous; all the five star reviews either had more expensive rooms, or were paid to write great reviews probably. The outside facade of the building is just that- a facade. We paid over $1500.00 for seven nights of pure hell. To begin, the hotel hallways STANK of damp, mold, and urine. I realize we are in the French quarter, and well, stuff happens, but this was horrendous. The hallways were damp and dark, and frankly, I did not feel safe. Our room was also damp, despite the AC. Both the bed sheets and towels came soiled at times after being "changed". The room smelled musty and my husband and I were constantly sneezing the entire seven-day period. The hotel stated that there would be fresh coffee available in the kitchen area on the main floor of the St. Anne building each morning at 5:30 AM, but coffee was never available during our stay until well after 7AM. Right next to the kitchen area, there was a soiled towel on the floor catching water that was spilling out of the old brick walls from the original building. To top it off, my card was charged a fee of 584.00 randomly halfway into our stay; when I brought this up MULTIPLE TIMES to management, the main manager cut me off and told me I had to wait until the woman who handles reservations calls me. Each day my card had a different charge, and eventually I was given my money back after three days. This place is honestly not worth the money or stress, especially if you want refuge from the humidity of New Orleans after a long day. Place d'Armes- never again!

I was a solo woman traveling to NOLA. This hotel was safe, clean, and everything I needed without all the frills. The room and bathroom were clean and remodeled. The front desk attendant Patrice was super nice and so was the valet. This hotel is within walking distance of everything but is nestled on a quiet street in the French Quarter. This is the perfect hotel, especially if you’re traveling by vehicle and need to park your car. Loved it and will definitely stay here again. Don’t forget your swimsuit just in case you want to cool off in the pool!

we loved our 4 night stay here!! The location was super ideal and very close to Jackson Square. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were historic and charming. And the courtyard was just gorgeous, well-kept, and had a great pool. 10/10 would stay here again.

This hotel was such a great environment! From the wonderful staff to the location and the fact that we were in the French Quarter! Cannot recommend it enough and truly the staff again really made it! Bonus - you are just a hop and a jump from; Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, Frenchman Street and so many wonderful restaurants and Cafe Du Monde! Really enjoyed our experience here ?!

you genuinely cannot beat the location! it’s so central to everything you need in new orleans. not to mention how cute the hotel itself is! the courtyard areas are so cute. the real reason to stay here though is the service. patricia and stewart are genuinely the kindest people i’ve ever met and interacted with. i would go back again just for them!!! if you’re on the fence about staying here, let this be your sign to book :,)

The hotel was great. Patrice at the front desk was incredible, and assisted us throughout our stay. And Stewart was the man that kept the coffee going in the morning and made sure we had everything we needed. They both made us feel welcomed every day. As far as location, it right in the center of the French Quarter, so everything is only a few blocks away. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here a few times in the late nineties and had such fond memories we decided to return. It was perfect! It was just as I remember except they have updated the bathrooms and bedding which is really all you want. The lobby staff was always welcoming and patient. The rooms were clean and charming. The location truly can't be beat! The pool and amenities are the cherry on top. Can't recommend it enough!

Excellent stay. Service was consistently attentive, professional, and accommodating. The rooms have genuine character, not generic, while still providing all the essential comforts. The interior courtyard is a standout feature, quiet, well maintained, and a welcome retreat. The location is ideal, with easy access to the French Quarter, Jackson Square, and the main attractions without sacrificing a sense of calm. Would absolutely stay here again.
