The Q&C Hotel consistently receives high praise for its exceptional staff, charming atmosphere, and convenient location in New Orleans. Guests rave about the friendly service, rich history, and comfortable rooms, making it a standout choice for a memorable stay. While some minor maintenance and room size concerns have been noted, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive.
I discovered the QC Hotel while traveling to New Orleans, and ever since then, it’s become the only place I want to stay when I’m in town. This trip, I brought my girlfriend, and we stayed for four days. Everything about the experience reminded me why I keep coming back. The rooms are comfortable, full of character, and have that perfect retro, old-school New Orleans feel that you just don’t find in cookie-cutter hotels. A special shoutout to Richard, who prepared breakfast each morning. The breakfasts were magnificent, and his pancakes are absolutely amazing. He’s an excellent chef and helped make our stay even more enjoyable. What truly sets the QC Hotel apart, though, is the staff. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care that guests had a great experience. I had several conversations with different team members throughout our stay, and every interaction was positive. In a city filled with hotels, the QC stands out because of its people. If you’re visiting New Orleans and want a place with comfort, charm, history, and some of the friendliest staff you’ll ever meet, do yourself a favor and stay here. I know I will be back.
First, I'll say that this will be my NOLA travel home for the foreseeable future! The hotel is beautiful, with modern floorplans, thoughtful New Orleans-inspired decor, and warm, professional staff. Jah and Anissa were especially kind and welcoming and the breakfast was amazing! I would normally give a full five stars, but a few key issues held the experience back: 1) the rooms need much better lighting (there should be a floor lamp added to every room asap); 2) there are no microwaves; 3) the ice machines only dispense water; and 4) the rooms provide shampoo and conditioner but no body wash. Overall, it is a lovely property with top-notch customer service, but a few practical improvements would make the stay much stronger.
The Q&C NOLA has quickly become our favorite little spot in New Orleans. It is a perfect location to everything we like to do but still off the path enough to be able to sleep at night! The staff is 10/10. It is a great price. The rooms are always clean and comfy!
I had an amazing stay at the Q&C Hotel in New Orleans during the weekend of May 23rd–24th! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. Mr. Jay at the front desk really cool guy, Cristina, and the valet parking team , I believe Omar or Oscar were all incredibly kind and would go grab my car for me in the ran, welcoming, and professional. They truly made my experience in New Orleans one of the best. I absolutely loved the rooms and the rich history throughout the hotel. Ms. Cristina took the time to share historical facts about the hotel and gave me a wonderful rundown of the property and the surrounding area. She even went above and beyond to help me complete the last few items I needed for my family member’s wedding, which meant so much to me. New Orleans itself is such a beautiful city filled with history, culture, and energy, and staying at the Q&C Hotel allowed me to truly feel connected to all of it. Thank you all again for making my stay so memorable. I will definitely be back!
I love the style and atmosphere of the lovely hotel! It is the staff that make it exceptional. Andrionna is welcoming and kind. John at the bar sets the tone for the warm and welcoming space and why we continue to come back to the Q&C. A friend asked how our trip was going and I responded, it is wonderful here! Just had a leisurely breakfast at the bar, watching part of the French Open and connecting with the bartender, who we remembered from before, and why we love this hotel. The bar is in the reception area which is quite intimate and John just sets the tone. An absolutely beautiful person who welcomes you and offers a sense of belonging.
I recently stayed at the QC Hotel in New Orleans for three days and had an amazing experience from start to finish. Arianna at the front desk was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, she provided free water bottles and even a free raincoat, which was a lifesaver since it rained for most of my visit! I also used the hotel bar for breakfast and couldn’t have been happier. There were plenty of meal options to choose from, and the coffee was absolutely amazing. The customer service throughout was friendly and warm. A special shout-out to Brauly and Sonya in the kitchen, who took great care of me and served up a fantastic meal with excellent service. I was impressed to learn that Brauly was working his very first day, you’d never know it! He’s clearly going to be a wonderful addition to the team. If you’re visiting New Orleans, I highly recommend staying at the QC Hotel. The staff truly make the experience special. I’ll definitely be back! ?
I had a great experience staying at the Q&C Hotel. The property itself was very clean, stylish, and in a convenient location, which made getting around easy. The atmosphere felt welcoming from the moment I arrived, and the staff were very professional and attentive throughout my stay. One person who really stood out was Yohanny. They provided excellent customer service and made sure everything went smoothly during my visit. Yohanny was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed. That level of care truly made my experience even better. I would definitely recommend the Q&C Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great service.
Lovely hotel that I would like to revisit. Room was wonderful. The only shortcoming was that the door and frame had a tight fit that did not allow the door to securely close on its own. The service was amazing Sonya and Yohanny provided excellent breakfast service and hospitality. The decor was tasteful, traditional and hip. Will be the first hotel I search for on my next trip to New Orleans.
In January 2026 I stayed with my best friend at this hotel. Arianna at the Q&C Hotel went above and beyond! She got us into our room with an early check-in, held our bags, and made us feel incredibly welcome. When we had a room issue, she swiftly moved us, offered a discount, and even ensured we got complimentary meals. Her kindness, bilingual communication, and proactive care made our stay fantastic. Thank you, Arianna!
Cons - don't stay here if you are a light sleeper. You can hear all the structural noise - AC unit goes BOOM before it comes on ? and I could hear the bathroom doors/plumb flushing of either the room above or below. Pros - booked this room for Mardi Gras & for me it was the perfect location. Regardless of which way you walked you were 1 or 2 blocks from the parade route. The casino is about a 5 minute walk as well. I would recommend this hotel - staff & parking staff were extremely nice & helpful. The room was small but spacious enough for 2 people. There is a barn door on the bathroom without a lock & no vent in the bathroom. So I would recommend stay here with someone you're already familiar with. There is no shower door, which may be pleasant during the warm summer months but chilly otherwise. The beds were extremely comfortable. These photos are of room 508.
