We had a fantastic stay at the Quarter House! The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, and the location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to Bourbon Street and everything the French Quarter has to offer. We booked connecting accommodations, with a one-bedroom apartment for our son and another for us, which worked out perfectly. One of the biggest surprises was having an in-room washer and dryer. Before our trip, we called the hotel and were told there were complimentary shared laundry facilities, so finding a private laundry unit in our room was an unexpected bonus. If you need it, laundry detergent is available at the front desk for just $2. The hotel staff was friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout our stay. Between the spacious rooms, excellent location, and outstanding service, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay here! Overall, the staff was so helpful and friendly. The front desk staff always greeted us on our way in. When we first got there, Anthony helped us get our luggage up to the room. We had a few other minor maintenance things he also helped us out with over the course of our week-long stay. He was so easy-going and fun to talk to! Another special shout out to the older gentleman (I did not catch his name) who hosted the free breakfast in the courtyard and free wine & cheese event. He was very outgoing, interacting with all the guests including our 3 year old, making sure everyone was taken care of, and his little introduction poem/song was so endearing! The location is excellent! We were right in the middle of the French Quarter and could walk to everything! Just a few short blocks to the ferry and aquarium. Just a few streets over on Canal Street we could hop on the bus or trolley to explore other parts of the city. Definitely a good "home base" to walk back to for lunch & a nap in the middle of the day before venturing back out at night. The hotel is right next to a few bars. One of them plays live music almost every night. It was great because we could hear it from the living room part of our room, but the bedroom did not have any windows so it was nice and dark and quiet when wanting to sleep. The hotel itself is a bit older, but fairly nice. The pool in the courtyard was a bit small, but for a toddler learning to swim, it suited our needs just fine for a quick dip. The room itself (we stayed in the Small Garden / Petit Jardin 2 bedroom unit) was pretty good. It was spacious enough and clean. We only had two "complaints" if you can even call them that because they are very minor. First, the kitchen in the room was not very well equipped. We cooked our own breakfast and lunch every day for 5 people, and it was a bit difficult sometimes. For the units with kitchens, it would be good for the hotel to have a standard checklist of items. There were 2 blenders, but we did not have things that come standard in other rooms we've stayed in with kitchens before. Things missing like: frying pan, sharp knives, cutting board, measuring cup, a few extra plates, plastic cups for kids (not just glass). The second thing was the shower. It leaked pretty bad from the shower head and also did not seem to be sealed properly on the floor. Whoever installed it originally did not do a great job. I would have someone definitely check it out because it could cause potential damage to the flooring and even the unit below if it continues. Overall, though, we had a great time. I would highly recommend this place to stay!

We love our stays at Quarter House! In the heart of everything in the French Quarter. Close to Bourbon but still far enough you don’t get all the noise. Accommodations are always clean and comfortable. Are they the most modern or up to date..no …but that’s what I love about it. The exposed brick and antique feel of being in the French Quarter.

I'm a 504 Boy, "not a member of the group, '504 Boyz'," but born and raised here. And I've spent nights in "THE GAMUT." (gam·ut /??am?t/ noun 1. the complete range or scope of something.) This is my third stay here, and it's now 3 times better than any other stay I've experienced in the Big Easy. ?

Amazing location. Not too far from main part of downtown. And so close to the strip. On arrival the reception staff and porter could see we were struggling with luggage but offered not one bit of help. After seeing us struggle check in was extremely cold and made us feel uncomfortable. Room was huge. Living area didn’t have any windows but was comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped …….. we woke up the next t morning to find roaches all over the worktop I counted 13 in total the whole stay. The bedroom was also on the main road which was so noisy. The top bedding wasn’t clean. But when we took it off the sheets were clean. Thankfully we travel with our own pillows. When we told reception about this on check out. They didn’t care one bit. Overall I’d say avoid this hotel. Please

Musty dusty old smelly rooms. It was hard to spend much time in the room because the air was so thick with dust and mold. Keeping the bathroom doors closed helped slightly. The bed, despite itchy polyester sheets, was comfortable and we slept like rocks in the quiet and dark of the room. The amenities were fine, grateful for hot water and 100% cotton towels. Our last night was extremely unpleasant as an alarm was blaring for at least 6 hours unending. I called the front desk about it and she had no idea what it could’ve been. I think someone used the emergency exit stairs in the middle of the night. It was scary. Sunday breakfast was a pleasant surprise. TV never worked in our room which felt scam-y. I’ll never stay here again.

I stayed here for 6 days Jan 16-22nd in room 221 and it was a very nice and comfortable place. The guy that worked in the evening (I wish I could remember his name and I’m sorry I cannot) was amazing and I enjoyed getting to speak to him while he was working so kind, knowledgeable and helpful! The staff otherwise were also helpful and kind and we had no issue staying here. I come back every year and I’d stay again!

This is small place two blocks from bourbon street. We got a room with a large bedroom, a full kitchen, and a living room with two hide-a-beds. The room was beautiful with tall ceilings and very clean. We were very pleased. It was very affordable and better then expected. The small courtyard was cute. The elevator was broken, but that happens. We took the stairs or the back elevator with our luggage. They held our luggage for us. The jazz bar is right next door and we could hear it clearly from our room, but they stopped at midnight and it was a non issue for us.

The hotel is in a great location to access the French Quarter and Canal Street. Our room was extremely clean and spacious. We called before our check-in time in hopes of accessing our room a little early. To our surprise, the room was ready. All in all, we had a great stay, and we will definitely keep this hotel in mind for future NOLA visits.

The one bedroom was perfect for our stay with a little one. The location is unbeatable with so many great restaurants and shops within walking distance. The continental breakfast on Sunday was a nice start to the day as was the complimentary walking tour. Mr. Fisher was so kind to take our bags up to the room and Lawrence was great as well. The property was beautiful and the rooms were unique and well upkept. Comfortable beds and free laundry in the lobby. We would definitely love to stay here again!
