Amazing location. Not too far from main part of downtown. And so close to the strip. On arrival the reception staff and porter could see we were struggling with luggage but offered not one bit of help. After seeing us struggle check in was extremely cold and made us feel uncomfortable. Room was huge. Living area didn’t have any windows but was comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped …….. we woke up the next t morning to find roaches all over the worktop I counted 13 in total the whole stay. The bedroom was also on the main road which was so noisy. The top bedding wasn’t clean. But when we took it off the sheets were clean. Thankfully we travel with our own pillows. When we told reception about this on check out. They didn’t care one bit. Overall I’d say avoid this hotel. Please

Musty dusty old smelly rooms. It was hard to spend much time in the room because the air was so thick with dust and mold. Keeping the bathroom doors closed helped slightly. The bed, despite itchy polyester sheets, was comfortable and we slept like rocks in the quiet and dark of the room. The amenities were fine, grateful for hot water and 100% cotton towels. Our last night was extremely unpleasant as an alarm was blaring for at least 6 hours unending. I called the front desk about it and she had no idea what it could’ve been. I think someone used the emergency exit stairs in the middle of the night. It was scary. Sunday breakfast was a pleasant surprise. TV never worked in our room which felt scam-y. I’ll never stay here again.

I stayed here for 6 days Jan 16-22nd in room 221 and it was a very nice and comfortable place. The guy that worked in the evening (I wish I could remember his name and I’m sorry I cannot) was amazing and I enjoyed getting to speak to him while he was working so kind, knowledgeable and helpful! The staff otherwise were also helpful and kind and we had no issue staying here. I come back every year and I’d stay again!

This is small place two blocks from bourbon street. We got a room with a large bedroom, a full kitchen, and a living room with two hide-a-beds. The room was beautiful with tall ceilings and very clean. We were very pleased. It was very affordable and better then expected. The small courtyard was cute. The elevator was broken, but that happens. We took the stairs or the back elevator with our luggage. They held our luggage for us. The jazz bar is right next door and we could hear it clearly from our room, but they stopped at midnight and it was a non issue for us.

The hotel is in a great location to access the French Quarter and Canal Street. Our room was extremely clean and spacious. We called before our check-in time in hopes of accessing our room a little early. To our surprise, the room was ready. All in all, we had a great stay, and we will definitely keep this hotel in mind for future NOLA visits.

The one bedroom was perfect for our stay with a little one. The location is unbeatable with so many great restaurants and shops within walking distance. The continental breakfast on Sunday was a nice start to the day as was the complimentary walking tour. Mr. Fisher was so kind to take our bags up to the room and Lawrence was great as well. The property was beautiful and the rooms were unique and well upkept. Comfortable beds and free laundry in the lobby. We would definitely love to stay here again!

The location is top notch. You are a 3 minute walk from all the action, but off the main strip. The rooms are quirky and funky, just what you want in NOLA. I gave service three stars simply because there really isn’t any service to be had. It seems more like a timeshare complex than a hotel. There are some of the usual hotel trappings [small gym, business center] but the vibe is really more like a timeshare condo situation. That was great for us. Parking is available at a nearby hotel for about $40/night.

I stayed here with three friends for a joint weekend before a conference. On our second night we came back to find a "move out" notice under our door, which was the first notice we received that we would have to vacate the room and move to a new room the next day. We were told we would have to "check out" by 10 am and could not "church in" until 4 pm. Two of us needed a space to work, including for video calls, and were relying on having access to a hotel room during this time as it was in the middle of our reservation. We were not notified while making the reservation nor at check in that this would occur. When we complained to the front desk, we were treated very condescendingly, as though it was equally our fault that we had not received any communication about the "move out." It turns out that the property is a hybrid between a hotel and a time share and we had to move for the time share owners, which surely they knew when we made the reservation. After a lot of back and forth with the front desk, we were eventually able to check out of our room late and move our own things into the next room, but we had to change plans for the trip to make this happen. Frustrating when you're only staying somewhere for four nights! I also don't understand how the hotel can change a full rate for a day when you have no access to a room for 6 hours, which was their original plan. Staff acted as though we had never traveled before and this was normal behavior that we "might not be familiar with." I was really shocked by the complete lack of communication and poor customer service. I definitely can't recommend staying here.

This hotel discriminates against service animals and charged us $150 to vacuum dog hair because they consider it a deep cleaning. There were no damages or stains of any kind. But yes German shepherds shed. This would have required them to do the same dusting, vacuuming and cleaning they should be doing to all the rooms after guests stay anyway. We have flown and traveled to many locations with our service animal before and have never been treated like this. Do not stay here! No need to lie about deep cleanings Nikki. Do you normally clean your units Nikki??? Or do you just slap on new sheets and call it clean. Nikki Krivjanick is a General Manager at The Quarter House For your education: A hotel in Louisiana cannot charge a specific fee for a service animal shedding hair or dander, as this is not considered damage under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state law. Such a charge is illegal discrimination. Hotel Fines for Illegal Fees: Hotels that unlawfully charge fees for a service animal or deny access face penalties under both federal and Louisiana law: Louisiana State Fines: A business violating the rights of a person with a disability regarding a service dog can be found guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to fines. First offense: Fined up to $500 or imprisoned for up to 90 days, or both. Subsequent offenses: Can result in higher fines (up to $1,000 or $2,500 depending on the specific statute) and potential jail time. Federal Penalties: Violations of the ADA are investigated by the U.S. Department of Justice and can result in significant civil penalties, although these are typically imposed on the business by the federal government, not the individual.

Nice little hotel. Rooms are decent sized. Beds are very comfortable. My only issue is the lack of the attention to detail wall damage not repaired, housekeeping only until 3pm. This means anything extra you need is impossible to get after 3pm. It feels like staff just don't care. Location of this place is perfect for all French quarter happenings.
