This is a wonderful quiet oasis in the French Quarter. The location is close enough for walking throughout the Quarter, and convenient to the Garden District, Frenchmen Street, and other N.O. attractions. My wife and I, along with another couple, stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage that was beautifully appointed, clean, comfortable and relaxing. The four of us (myself, my wife, my friend and his wife) stayed in Cottage 2, which was SO nice....really nicely appointed, comfortable, clean...very relaxing. And the common sitting area with a pool that can be used for breakfast is really nice. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful...they even helped accommodate us for our evening flight out by keeping our luggage stored for a bit after checkout . Nothing but great things to say about Audubon Cottages, and we would not stay anywhere else when we return to New Orleans.

Like the description says, this place truly is an oasis in the French Quarter. We felt like we were staying in a villa in France. We stayed for three nights while attending my daughter’s graduation from Tulane University and loved everything about Cottage 2, where we stayed. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We had our own large private patio just steps from the pool, which is open 24 hours a day. The staff were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We especially enjoyed talking with the manager, Jeffrey, who gave us some excellent recommendations even though we’ve visited New Orleans several times before. Although our schedule was packed with graduation events and activities, we still found ourselves spending a lot of time at the hotel relaxing, especially on the outdoor patio. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Audubon. Shaun is amazing! He made sure our stay was enjoyable. We loved the atmosphere and the vibe the place offered. The cottage was extremely comfortable and felt like home. Beautiful courtyard!

This stay became one of the highlights for us in New Orleans. We were so stunned by the history of these cottages that were once the studios and houses of Audubon. The location is walking distance to all prime locations in the French Quarters. If you get a hold of Mr.Jeffrey just ask him where to eat. No one I met more passionate about the kitchens in New Orleans. Mr.Shaun was helping us with the room and everything we needed. A lot of our stay was us being grateful to the space and absorbing the rich history of the city. Hope to stay here again.

We can't say enough wonderful things about the Cottages. Small, intimate and relatively quiet despite the proximity to Bourbon Sreet. Sean is amazing, responsive and full of good recommendations and suggestions. It's well worth the price. The daily room service and amenities are terrific. Just be sure to shut the locked gate quietly when you go in and out! Perhaps a polite reminder could be posted!

We’ve been coming to the Quarter for years and thought we’d seen it all but wow, wow, WOW, a hidden gem perfectly located, a literal paradise. Intimate, luxurious, quiet, and Shawn and Anthony made our stay even better. We will ONLY be staying here at the Audubon Cottages from here on out. Thank you guys!!!!!!

Communication could be better as far as check-in/out information. The rooms were clean and stocked with beverages. The pool house was nice. Beautifully landscaped, safe, private and centrally located— walking distance to all sites ( a few blocks away from Cafe Du Monde). Public parking is conveniently located on Rampert St.

Recently stay at Audubon Cottages and it was a great experience. Private cottage with a small patio steps away from the heated pool. Our butler Sean was top notch. In the heart of the French Quarter, but tucked away from all the excitement. I highly recommend stay stay here, you won't be sorry.

Our stay at this unique hotel in the French Quarter was absolutely unforgettable. The hotel perfectly blends rich history with a secluded, peaceful atmosphere—truly the best of both worlds. Despite being just steps away from the excitement of the Quarter, it felt like a hidden retreat. One of the highlights was the gorgeous pool, which was heated—a fantastic touch that our children absolutely loved. The charm, ambiance, and overall experience made this hotel feel like a home away from home. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else on our next trip to New Orleans! Highly recommend.
