The Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery is a unique hotel situated in a historic warehouse, praised for its excellent location, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. While many guests appreciate its vintage charm and amenities, some have experienced issues with room cleanliness, lighting, and noise levels.
Great hotel, I loved everything about it. Close to everything yet nestled away in a quiet little area. Beautiful rooms with high, vaulted ceilings. Clean and comfortable. Amazing staff. The restaurant is wonderful, Caribbean cuisine that was absolutely delicious. Cool, relaxed vibe. I will come back.
Very nice and quaint close to everything within walking distance rooms are interestingly decorated beds are comfortable I would come back here again.
Difficult to point out. I stayed for four nights and room cleaning was never done. Breakfast service is also confusing. Much better at night when restaurant become a cocktail bar.
This was an old warehouse that was converted into a hotel. It's pretty cool. The location is perfect for the French Quarter, the casino or the convention center
Older property however one of the best showers I've ever had. Water so hot you have to turn it down which is usually not the case. Comfortable meeting spot off the front desk.
Ms. Rena (Hospitality Staff) was AMAZING! Thank you to the staff for their Hospitality. Excellent location also!
We love staying at the Old 77. The location is perfect for a day/night in NOLA!
What a great hotel! They were ultra accommodating with our dog, room was spacious and everyone was helpful! The Compere Lapin is an amazing restaurant inside the hotel and they also were extremely attentive and pet friendly!
This is one of our go to hotels when visiting NOLA! We have stayed here several times and are on our way for another weekend stay. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are big and beds are comfy! Always clean and a great location!
This was a disappointing experience. The picture below is a view out of the only window in the room on a sunny day; no natural light at all. They also sprayed weird smells throughout the hotel and room which was off-putting. The location is great but I expected much more given the price. Edit: "Lightwell Windows" implies that some light will be visible, it was completely dark all day long.
