This hotel is generally praised for its flawless customer service, particularly from the front desk and restaurant staff, and its ideal location near the Convention Center and cruise port. However, recent guests have reported specific maintenance issues, including uncomfortable mattresses, thin walls causing noise pollution, and conflicting policies regarding amenities like breakfast.
Paul has made every single breakfast at the hotel restaurant an exceptional experience. From the very first morning, his level of service stood out. By the second day he already knew my name, remembered my order, and greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism. What truly sets Paul apart is his attention to detail and natural ability to make guests feel welcomed and valued. He anticipates needs, stays attentive without being intrusive, and consistently delivers service with a positive attitude. As a Director of Customer Service myself, I pay close attention to these things, and Paul exemplifies the kind of service professional any organization would be lucky to have. If I were building a hospitality or customer experience team, he is exactly the type of person I would want on it. Thank you, Paul, for making each morning start on such a great note.
Very happy and impressed with the staff, location, and appearance of this hotel. So clean and beautiful. Parking and front desk was so easy. Nicholas at the front desk was AMAZING!! If I could have him at all the hotels we go to (which is a lot) I would be so happy. Gave us suggestions with dining and where to go. Need more like him for sure. Valet guys were so nice and helpful. Really appreciate the customer service from all staff and would stay again just because of them alone.
My stay was amazing because of Olivia. She was extremely professional, kind, and very helpful during my stay. The hilton needs more people like her.Her staff Iman took the time to be kind when coming in and out of the hotel. Brielle got in on the action when we needed help. Lastly Janae jones in sales helped. Very appreciative for her assistance. My Daughter ? i were in town for a volleyball competition. Definitely will recommend this location to family & Friends. See you next year.
Olivia at the front desk was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled smoothly and that we felt completely taken care of. Her kindness and professionalism truly stood out. Mr. Doy was just as awesome! He was so attentive and eager to help with anything we needed. It’s rare to encounter such genuine hospitality, and he made a lasting impression on us. The dining staff was wonderful as well. The food was really good, and the service in the restaurant was just as friendly and attentive. It made our stay even more enjoyable. Everyone did a fantastic job, and because of their outstanding service, we will absolutely be back. We are so thankful for the care and attention we received during our stay. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans. The biggest thing that stood out to me was the staff. Every time I interacted with someone, whether it was at the front desk, in the hallway, or with housekeeping, they were friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful. There wasn’t just one person who made the experience great. It was consistently good service from multiple people, which you don’t always see. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, which made getting around easy. Everything about the stay felt smooth and easy. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.
First time here in New Orleans and my experience has been Great so far! Hotel is clean and in a great location. But what has really stood out to me is the kindness of the staff. They have all made me feel welcome and comfortable. I would especially like to give a shout out to Trey, she is so thoughtful, kind, and helpful. She completely went above and beyond to help me and I’m so thankful for her.
Jerry at the front desk was cheerful, and helpful! He helped us plan some must sees in the city since we only had one day. The staff at the restaurant were awesome! Ms. D greets everyone like royalty. Bob helped plan a gluten free dinner. Our server Paul helped plan a great gluten free breakfast and the chef, Rushell, cooked it separately with care.
Excellent service and great food! The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and served hot and fresh. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal and unwind. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this bar and grill to others.
This is our first time here and our experience has been great. We were greeted by Ashley at the front desk. We arrived at 11:45 PM and from the beginning she was understanding of our needs and answered our questions and took care of everything for us once we got to our room we had an issue with one of the pillows. She made things right other than that it’s been such a great experience here we can’t wait to spend the next three days in this Property. Ashley has made our first night stay very greeting and very pleasant. I look forward for our experience here
The front desk guy was wonderful but my mattress wasn't comfortable at all. I could feel the springs and the mattress cover was very thin. I'm still recovering from back pain from staying 1 night. They need to replace their mattresses or use a memory foam toppers. I was also given a handicap accessible room when I didn't reserve one. My toilet was very low to the floor. For paying over $100 in wasn't worth it.
