Guests consistently praise the property's exceptional customer service, spacious and well-equipped suites in a quiet Garden District location, and high-quality amenities like a heated pool, clean spa, and streetcar access.
Excellent customer service by the team in the lobby! They always greeted us coming in and out of the building. I was pleased with my suite. Though, the folks in my party who stayed in studios were less satisfied. Conveniently located in the Garden District close to local shops and businesses with a trolley stop right out front.
These guys are phenomenal, the staff is so upbeat and helpful, still got to work on the one guy at the desk. He's not quite a believer yet, and I told him if that old fashioned phone by the desk rings you got to believe man. And the house out back.... Definitely haunted ?
Location location location Pool clean and hot- hot tub 103 degrees I had a small room with king bed. Bed comfy. Kitchen was useful lovely neighborhood and all sparkly during Christmas season
Great experience with the staff here. We arrived at 6am and check-in wasn’t until 4pm. They let us hang out in a comfy sitting area/business center for a couple of hours before they had a room ready for us at 9am - 7 hours early. Very accommodating and friendly staff. The rooms and common areas are clean and well kept. The bathroom in the one-bedroom is tight. The kitchen comes with a nearly full sized fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and two burners. Spacious living room for 2 people.
This resort was absolutely amazing! It was great to see the New Orleans charm throughout the building. The location is perfect as it is far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but still very close to everything. The staff was very friendly and professional. They made me feel welcome. Just like I was at home. The immunities were nice as well to include a pool. The suites were very spacious, clean, and had a full operational kitchen (to include two burner coat top, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave oven combo). I had everything I needed and more... I would definitely recommend this place for anyone to stay!
Perfect location on the St. Charles streetcar line with lots of local eateries and coffee shops. It's a resort so be prepared to either get or ignore the sales pitch. Enjoy delicious cocktails and fine dining at the 5 star on-site restaurant or relax in the many lovely sitting areas, library or pool. On site security 24/7 and friendly, professional staff.
First time in NO. Room was nice but small. Full length mirror on wall but behind dresser and TV???? Water pressure was low. Nice outside areas to sit with music. Nice gym. Small pool but nice. Jacuzzi was not working- waiting on a part it seems. Timeshare presentation was quick and to the point. Valet/garage parking fee is $50/night but was waived if we went to presentation. Bryce and Donie were a pleasure to deal with.
New Orleans is a fun place to visit for adults of all ages, and every experience is a new adventure. I have a timeshare with Wyndham and, with only a few months remaining in the year to use my points, I decided to take a quick flight with my wife to the Big Easy, with a stay at Club Wyndham Avenue Plaza. This place of lodging is located away from the city. The location is good if you prefer to be a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. You are still walking distance way from the edge of downtown, but if you want to get to, say, the French Quarter or the Superdome, it’s going to require transportation. With the rooms, they are condo- style, and that means you get a full living room, kitchen, etc with a separate bedroom and large bathroom. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and the staff tend to leave you alone. That means you won’t get housekeeping, unless you directly request it. This is nice for those who like their privacy. With the amenities, there are many, including a fitness center, business center, outdoor pool, outdoor firepit seating, even a rooftop deck with views of the city. There is an adjacent restaurant, too, and several other notable eateries within walking distance. My wife and I generally liked our stay at this timeshare property, but we did NOT like the owner’s presentation on the last day of our stay. The pushy salespeople wouldn’t take no for an answer and, even after telling them several times that we needed to get going, they continued to ramble on with their sales presentation. The promised timeframe of the presentation was not honored, going way beyond what they said and making us late for our next event. That reason, alone, convinces me to lower my rating for this resort. Overall, Club Wyndham Avenue Plaza is a good place to stay, just be sure not to get wrangled into a sales presentation. I completed a few surveys following my negative experience and as of today, several weeks after the incident, I still have not received any follow- up from them. Travelers need to be aware of what could happen if they decide to stay here.
We were on the 12th floor and the elevator made bumping and clacking sounds all night. Shook the whole floor and we couldn't sleep for a week. The room was nice, clean, but no water pressure. Awesome garden with a small pool and the accessible roof has a wonderful view especially at night. One of the staff was rude at the front desk but all the other staff was very hospitable.
Right off of St. Charles in the Garden district. There was a street car stop right outside the door which was handy. The staff was amazing! The Valets were polite and handled our car professionally. The security guards were always present and kept us all feeling safe and not allowing people who weren't guest in the hotel. The front desk ladies were so polite! The concierge staff was fabulous! I told them what I wanted to do on what days and they got EVERYTHING scheduled and figured out for me. It was a breeze! The room was clean, quiet, and spacious. The courtroom was quiet and peaceful. It didnt even feel like we were right by a busy street. I look forward to staying there again on my next visit.
