What a surprise ..wasn’t expecting “exceptional”…this went beyond that. Everything about this hotel is top notch. Friendly and helpful employees…great restaurants ..amazing workout room..great pool..and the rooms were so quiet and comfortable. The pillows in the beds were spectacular !!! Slept SO good! AC units quiet too. Wish I could give this place 50 stars.

The hotel is beautiful, unique and I love all of the artwork. The rooms are very nice, tons of space and amenities that goes with the bookings make the value well over the cost of the rooms. The location is prime- it's right by the trolley, right down from the french quarter, magazine street, the super dome, all of it is in walking distance. But what made my experience truly exceptional was the staff. From the very start at check in - the level of concierge, and just overall high class service exceeded every standard and expectation. Everyone at the front desk has been more than helpful and wonderful at every interaction. I am so grateful for them and their assistance in several instances. The valets, the room service, pool personnel- everyone was so personable and helpful. This is going to be my hotel to stay in anytime I go to New Orleans. Truly the best experience.

Pros: - comfortable bed and pillows - friendly staff - beautiful lobby areas - free jazzy pass for everyone booked in room - record player in room - in room coffee was good - amazing room rate - full length mirror - bathroom counter space - well lit room Cons: - dirty pool. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars. It was visibly cloudy and no one was in it despite being a hot summer day. We were told it had been about a week since its last cleaning. - dirty tub. I took a bath and could feel the soap scum grime. - not a con for me, but the street car does run all night and it’s fairly loud. Enough to wake me up a few times, but it added to the feel of the place. Globalist Perks: - upgraded to a corner king. They were really helpful and named several room types available for us to choose from. The room was beautiful. Love the wooden shutters which are aesthetic but also block out the light at night. - globalist breakfast credit can be used for “bedside breakfast”. Which is easily ordered via a QR code and brought to your room. There is one option (bacon, potatoes, egg, biscuit) Or you can go downstairs and eat in the cafe for a full menu.

Relaxing stay at this boutique hotel in CBD! Booked my reservation through Amex and was pleasantly greeted at check in acknowledging my Amex benefits and Hyatt member status, which also gave me 2 complimentary drinks! The destination fee includes discounts on local tours and a free tram (Jazzy Pass). Very cute long area with bar offering happy hour specials and free popcorn! Special shout out to Tyler H bartender! Great service and cocktails. The pool is really what sold me on this hotel! Serene rooftop pool with a bar. I enjoyed a few ;) tequila cocktails which were great. Opportunity here was the bathroom was in need of cleaning and stalls pretty dark with lights just over the sinks. The rooms are spacious and clean! I can appreciate some of the charm of the boutique hotel decor, but also believe furniture and could be upgraded. The gym was solid with a working Peloton.

Incredible hotel especially for the value. Very clean. Really cool rooms and lobby. Beautiful pool and patio, great staff all around. We were in town for a wedding so we didn’t get to enjoy the restaurants, but we even received a ticket for 2 free drinks upon checking in. Looking forward to staying here again if we’re ever in New Orleans.

Great boutique hotel in great location. Hotel is modern and contemporary. With a restaurant and bar on the lobby floor. and a rooftop pool and bar to enjoy some drinks and sun. The rooms are clean and chic. Had the pleasure of staying the a room a private patio to enjoy the sun privately with views of the city. The hotel staff were great! Especially Kedrick (i hope i got that right) who always great us with a smile and greeting when we return or left the hotel. Really welcoming and friendly. Great stay!

Had a great time at this hotel, Barstaff was excellent Tyler and Josh took great care of us Friday night, and then we had the pleasure of meeting Tyler #2 the following night. Very knowledgeable about the city and all things cocktail. Loved the art deco style throughout, rooms were quite cute. Pool area was also quite lush though the weather was dreary during our stay. Great location for navigating New Orleans without being in the dead center of the city.

Went to a private event here this weekend and was reminded what a great venue this is for hosting events. They have meeting rooms and conference spaces available, and everything was set up beautifully. The lobby seating area was comfortable and inviting, the food was excellent, and the staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. One of the best parts was being able to step outside the event space, relax in the lounge, enjoy live music, and grab a cocktail from the bar. It created such a fun and upscale atmosphere. Definitely a place I’d recommend for corporate events, private parties, or special gatherings.

I had an excellent stay at The Barnett and would absolutely return. From the moment I arrived, the staff stood out. They were genuinely warm, attentive, and eager to help. At check-in, I was given a curated list of local events happening that week, which added a thoughtful, insider touch and made exploring the city far more enjoyable. The team also recommended a great running route along St. Charles Avenue, just a block away, which ended up being a highlight of my mornings. The property itself feels newly renovated, with a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail throughout. The design strikes a great balance. It has a curated, eclectic style that feels both intentional and authentic, fitting seamlessly with the character of New Orleans. The location is another major advantage. It made daytime business meetings easy to access on foot, while also putting me within close reach of the city’s best dining, attractions, and nightlife in the evenings. Overall, a well-executed hotel experience that I’d definitetly recommend.

The rooms were spacious and clean. This hotel is not new and overly fancy, but is clean and stylish. But the best part is the friendly staff. The doormen were all very kind and so were the front desk staff. I left my do not disturb sign on the door one day and they notified me by text that they weren't able to clean. Their text line response time was really good too. As for additional services, they provided a handout with recommendations and services. I followed their recommendation for a city tour company and it was great! I would definitely stay here again.
