This location consistently receives poor reviews, with guests frequently facing severe maintenance failures, significant unsanitary conditions (mold, pests, rust), and allegations of fraud regarding deposits and refunds. While individual front desk staff have received praise for friendliness, management is widely criticized for rude behavior and ignoring guest complaints.
During my stay we were falsely accused of bringing a dog into the hotel when we did not have a dog with us. In addition to that, the room had very limited hot water that did not last through more than one shower. The Wi-Fi was also not working during our stay. Breakfast was extremely minimal and disorganized, with guests scrambling just to get basic items like toast. Overall the experience felt chaotic and uncomfortable, and the accusation about a dog was particularly frustrating because it was completely untrue. I hope management looks into these issues so future guests have a better experience.
Don’t book this hotel online . Call before to see if they have any rooms available. I booked this hotel online & when I go to the hotel the young man said no rooms were available. I asked him if I was still charged he said no . Anywho , my bank statement said I was charge & they refuse to give me my money back from a hotel that I NEVER STOOD IN . I’m always getting we have to investigate & they never have a manager to talk to or on site , I was suppose to get a call from a manager & that never happened . How could you guys keep my money for a hotel I NEVER SLEPT IN ? I went to the hotel & spoke with a young lady . She took pictures of my confirmation number , booking reservation , the statement from my bank & said she will send it to the manger & they will be calling me within 2-3 business days & still haven’t received a call . I’m not understanding what’s the conflict at all . Do not book this hotel , it’s very scammish. The guy at the front desk said a lot of rooms are out of commission right now . PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
-LONG REVIEW - HORRIBLE HORRIBLE & HORRIBLE ! My husband is a Union Journeyman Lineman & has been working In LA since September of 2025 ! My husband has been at this hotel EVERY WEEK since then !! A VERY LOYAL PAYING CUSTOMER! So when my husband was laid off due to the job coming to an end I kinda expected this hotel to be kind and understanding when we asked the manager to refund us our money for the 3 days he would not be staying ! My husband checked in on a Monday & checked out Tuesday BEFORE the 11am check out ! But the manager wanted to charge us for that 2nd day when he checked out BEFORE THE CHECK OUT TIME ! I requested a refund on booking and it stated it would take 24 hours ! I reached out to the hotel twice to see when the manager would refund us and each time all I got was “ well I text him , we are in a groups chat with the other employees “ I called the number I was given and that did NOTHING ! I finally had enough and reached out to booking via phone . I told them what was going on and they basically stated the obvious! We SHOULD ONLY be charged for one day not two since he checked out before the time . Booking reached out to the hotel as well & they were basically told the same thing I was “ well I did text him “ but then in the same sentence they got “ oh he said he can’t do it right now he is busy “ mind you he’s had 24 hours to do so ! The manager stays in a room at the hotel and stays there all day not doing crap ! I’m almost certain he is the reason the whole bottom floor spells like weed ! You walk in and you are hit with the smell of it ! It’s bad ! We have had people walk in our room at 2am. The elevated doesn’t hardly work . They have boxes laying around the hotel ! Front desk staff doesn’t answer phones but will go outside to smoke weed ! Basically don’t book here!!!! I told booking they could give me my money back or I’d report this as fraud ! Needless to say I DID get my money back ! We did pay for the one night he stayed but that was in ! Pretty sure he just wanted to pocket the money somehow but please run!
Jarvis has been the most helpful so far and I appreciate him so very much! He was also very helpful with our stay! That being said this email I just sent to the general manager speaks volumes on what we dealt with and I’ve gotten the run around multiple times trying to get this resolved
The staff were amazing and very helpful, however it’s the management that fell short. We constantly couldn’t get into our rooms with the faulty key cards, there were cockroaches in our room, the room was filthy and smelt, the breakfast was rationed and had limited options, towels had holes in them, and the lock to the bathroom didn’t work. I have low standards for hotels, but this is was an exception. Too many things added up to be a terrible four night experience.
Had the employees not been super nice, We would have left! The whole place smells musty & moldy. Our beds were comfy but we could not sit on furniture, it was dirty, worn & torn & STUNK OF MOLD! Broken & not replaced light fixtures, fart fan, handles on doors, shower etc...i have photos! And now we are at the Dr office! This place should be Shut Down.
The “manager”, boss, owner, whoever he is, was extremely rude. The heat broke and it was freezing, husband went downstairs to let them know and he offered a space heater and my husband let them know that wouldn’t work and asked for a new room and was denied. They had already moved him into this room because the tv was broke in the first one. He told my husband to pick between the room with the broken tv or the room with no heat. 4 floors of rooms, five cars in the parking lot and that’s all you can do? Ok. The girl working up front was extremely sweet and this is no reflection of her at all. Strictly the manager.
It's in the process of changing names. We had no cleaning service during our 4 day stay. One day they ran out of coffee. Another day they ran out of waffle mix at breakfast. Scrambled eggs and sausage were only ok. General maintenance needs to be done. The rooms were nice and some of the staff was excellent.
Hello! Y'all I read the reviews after booking and freaked out... Well My entrance to the hotel was pleasant, I was greeted with a smile. I was given room 101 as I requested through booking with a request for the 1st floor due to issues walking & my spine is fused. I purchased bug spray and didn't see one bug... I purchased cleaning supplies because I clean all the rooms I stay in, but as I wiped the tables they were clean. I asked for a sheet, and towels and trash bags, they were given no problem... Then there is breakfast until 9am, waffle maker, eggs, sausage, biscuits, Danish, oatmeal grits, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea, orange juice, cranberry juice and apple juice... ? ... the vending machines work.. Although I had to go up to get ice I had ice.... The refrigerator in my room was cold, the ice cream didn't melt... I walked around the area there's a bus, I just wanted to walk... everything was clean. They are however remodeling, so I will be back... I did see a photo on here with the water damage due to condensation from the ac... that was not an issue... I enjoyed My stay... The Entire staff was kind to Me.
This place is gross. Don't stay here. I chose the place because it was nearby where we were. From the moment you walk in, it smells wet and moldy. The clerk told us there was a room available but the TV may not work. You can take the elevator up, but it won't work going down so you'll have to take the stairs. The hallway to the rooms will have the strongest odor. The smell is also in the rooms but not quite as bad. There is mold on the walls and you can even see it on the lamp shade. As you can see people have stated the same in reviews from months ago, nothing gets fixed. Again, don't stay here.
